The 2020 Best of Nollywood Awards was the 12th edition of the ceremony and took place in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State on 5 December 2020. [1] [2] The event was co-hosted by Tana Adelana and Debo Macaroni [3] while the Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi served as the chief host. [4]

Living in Bondage: Breaking Free by Charles Okpaleke and This Lady Called Life by Kayode Kasum were identified as the biggest winners of the awards show. [5]

Jideofor Kenechukwu Achufusi is a Nigerian actor and model, known professionally as Swanky JKA. Debo Adedayo, known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, is a Nigerian comic skit maker, actor and activist. He is best known for his Instagram comedy videos, where he plays the role of a "sugar daddy". He is known for the phrases "Ooin" and "You are doing well".

The 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards was the 10th edition of the ceremony, and took place in Kakanfo conference centre in Ibadan, Oyo state on 9 December 2018. The Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi served as the chief host. The event was co-hosted by comedian, Helen Paul and actor, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey.
