The 2018 French Road Cycling Cup was the 27th edition of the French Road Cycling Cup. Compared to the previous season, the same 15 events were held, although the order had changed as the Grand Prix de Denain moved from mid April to mid March and thus became already the second event on the calendar.
The defending champion from the previous season was Laurent Pichon, he was succeeded by Hugo Hofstetter who did not manage to win one of the events but scored enough points to take the title.

Jimmy Engoulvent is a French former road racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2001 and 2015 for the Cofidis, Crédit Agricole, Sojasun and Team Europcar teams. Anthony Geslin is a French retired professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2002 and 2015, for the Bouygues Télécom and FDJ teams. Born in Alençon, Geslin won a bronze medal in the road race at the 2005 UCI Road World Championships.
Frédéric Guesdon is a French former professional road bicycle racer who competed as a professional between 1995 and 2012, most notably for UCI ProTeam FDJ–BigMat, spending 16 years of his career with the team.
William Bonnet is a French former professional road bicycle racer, who last rode for UCI WorldTeam Groupama–FDJ. In the 2015 Tour de France, Bonnet crashed at full speed on stage 3 near Huy in Belgium after clipping wheels of a rider in front. He has suffered a multiple fracture of the second cervical vertebrae and was rushed to Paris for surgery and placed in an induced coma before any neurological damage was done. Bonnet retired from competition at the end of the 2021 season.
