It was the 28th edition of the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, and part of the 250 Series of the 2017 ATP World Tour, and of the WTA International tournaments of the 2017 WTA Tour. Both the men's and the women's events took place at the Autotron park in Rosmalen, 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, from June 12 through June 18, 2017.

It was the 29th edition of the event, and part of the 250 Series of the 2018 ATP World Tour, and of the WTA International tournaments of the 2018 WTA Tour. Both the men's and the women's events took place at the Autotron park in Rosmalen, 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, from June 11 through June 17, 2018.

Tatjana Maria defeated the defending champion Anastasija Sevastova in the final, 6–4, 7–5 to win the singles tennis title at the 2018 Mallorca Open. It was her maiden WTA Tour title.

Bianca Andreescu won her first WTA Tour title, defeating Angelique Kerber in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 6–4. Andreescu became the first wildcard to win the title in the tournament's history and the youngest Indian Wells champion since Serena Williams in 1999. This also marked the second year in a row where a player won the tournament without having won a WTA singles title prior.

Petra Kvitová was the defending champion, but lost to Kiki Bertens in the quarterfinals in a replay of the previous year’s final.

This was the first edition of the tournament, primarily organised due to the cancellation of many tournaments during the 2020 season, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Ashleigh Barty was the defending champion from when the tournament was last held in 2019, and she successfully defended her title after Bianca Andreescu retired from the final with the scoreline at 6–3, 4–0. The victory earned Barty her first successful title defense in her singles career and made her the sixth woman to accomplish a title defense at the Miami Open.

Maryna Zanevska won her maiden WTA Tour singles title, defeating Kristína Kučová in the final, 6–4, 7–6(7–4).

Belinda Bencic was the defending champion, having won the previous edition in 2019, but she withdrew before the tournament began.

This was the first edition of the tournament.

Anastasia Potapova defeated Veronika Kudermetova in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the singles title at the 2022 İstanbul Cup. It was her maiden WTA Tour title.
