Rosalie van der Hoek (born 16 December 1994) is an inactive Dutch tennis player.
Van der Hoek, who prefers clay courts, has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 83, achieved on 18 October 2021.
She made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2017 Washington Open in the doubles competition, partnering Chayenne Ewijk.
In early 2020, she tested positive for COVID-19, [1] and again, prior to the commencement of the Palermo Ladies Open. [2]
Since July 2023, she has not competed in any tournaments of the pro circuit.

Sara Errani is an Italian professional tennis player. Errani is one of only seven women to complete the Career Golden Slam in doubles. She is an Olympic Games Gold Medalist, a former doubles world No. 1 achieved on 10 September 2012, Grand Slam champion in mixed doubles and a runner-up in singles. She reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 5 on 20 May 2013. With nine singles titles and 31 doubles titles, she is the Italian tennis player with the highest number of career titles.

It was the 115th edition of the event for the men and the 19th edition for the women, after last tournament being held in 2002. The tournament was classified as a WTA 250 tournament on the 2021 WTA Tour and as an ATP Tour 500 series on the 2021 ATP Tour. The tournament took place at the Am Rothenbaum in Hamburg, Germany between 6 and 18 July 2021. The event was scheduled a week earlier than the usual late July date to avoid scheduling conflicts with the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The event was the first to be organized since 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2021 and 2022 tournaments.
