She made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2017 Washington Open in the doubles competition, partnering Chayenne Ewijk.

In early 2020, she tested positive for COVID-19, [1] and again, prior to the commencement of the Palermo Ladies Open. [2]

The 36th edition of the women's event is held from 2 to 8 January 2023 and the 45th edition of the men's event will be scheduled from 9 to 14 January 2023. The event is the first to be organized since 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2021 and 2022 tournaments.
