2018 Russian National Women's Freestyle Wrestling Championships (also known as the Russian Women's Nationals 2018) was the national ranking tournament for the Russian international wrestling squad for the year of 2018, it was held in Smolensk, Russia from 10 August - 13 August. [1] This event was held in the 1150th Anniversary Palace of Sport. [2] [3]

Akhsarbek Kazbekovic Gulaev is a Russian-born Slovak freestyle wrestler of Ossetian heritage who competes at 79 kilograms. Representing Slovakia since 2017, Gulajev is the reigning European Continental champion and was a silver medalist at the 2017 U23 World Championships and the U23 European Continental Championships in 2018 and 2019. He competed in the 79 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.

The Russian National Freestyle Wrestling Championships 2022 was held in Kyzyl, Tuva by the Russian Wrestling Federation at the Sport complex of Subedey between 24 June to 26 June 2022.
