Bianca Andreescu won her first WTA Tour title, defeating Angelique Kerber in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 6–4. Andreescu became the first wildcard to win the title in the tournament's history and the youngest Indian Wells champion since Serena Williams in 1999. This also marked the second year in a row where a player won the tournament without having won a WTA singles title prior.
Ashleigh Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 7–6(7–1), 6–3, to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2019 Miami Open. It marked Barty's first Miami Open title and her first WTA Premier Mandatory title. Her victory earned her a top 10 debut in the WTA rankings.

The 2019 Eastbourne International was a combined men's and women's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 45th edition of the event for the women and the 9th edition for the men. The tournament was classified as a WTA Premier tournament on the 2019 WTA Tour and as an ATP Tour 250 series on the 2019 ATP Tour. The tournament took place at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club in Eastbourne, United Kingdom between 23 and 29 June 2019.

Iga Świątek defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 6–0, 6–0, to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Italian Open. It was Świątek's first WTA 1000 singles title, and the 13 points Świątek lost in the championship match is the fewest on record in a WTA 1000 final; Serena Williams previously held the record, from the 2015 Miami Open final. This was the first WTA singles final to be resolved with a 'double bagel' scoreline since Simona Halep defeated Anastasija Sevastova at the 2016 Bucharest Open, and was just the tenth such final in WTA history. With the win, Świątek broke into the top 10 of the WTA rankings for the first time.
Jeļena Ostapenko defeated Veronika Kudermetova in the final, 6–0, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships. She saved a match point en route to the title, in the quarterfinals against Petra Kvitová.
