Saint Pierre and Miquelon, officially the Overseas Collectivity of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, is a self-governing territorial overseas collectivity of France in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean, located near the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Miquelon-Langlade is the larger but less populated of the two communes (municipalities) making up the French overseas collectivity of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, located 22 km (14 mi) to the south of Newfoundland in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It consists of three geological islands: Miquelon, Langlade and Le Cap, connected with tombolos. The communal seat is the settlement of Miquelon, on the northern tip, where the entire island's permanent population of 580 is located. Miquelon Airport provides flights to Montreal and to nearby Saint-Pierre Airport.

The Saint Pierre and Miquelon national football team is the official football team for Saint Pierre and Miquelon. As an overseas collectivity of France, it is affiliated to the FFF. Saint Pierre and Miquelon's first official match was an 11–0 defeat to Réunion in the 2010 Coupe de l'Outre-Mer, a competition for teams representing the Overseas departments and territories of France.

The Ligue de football de Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon is the regional football association of the French overseas collectivity of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. The term can also refer to the territory's football league. The current President is Ludivine Quédinet.

The sport of association football in the territory of Saint Pierre and Miquelon is run by the Football Federation of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon. The association administers the representative sides, as well as the Ligue de Football de Saint Pierre et Miquelon. Although teams from the archipelago had already been participating in tournaments of the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association, the organization amended its bylaws in October 2019 to make Saint Pierre and Miquelon an associate member.

Association Sportive Saint-Pierraise or ASSP, is a Saint Pierre and Miquelon football club. Founded in 1903, the club is the oldest football team on the island. The club plays their home fixtures at Stade Léonce Claireaux. Its official colours are green and white.

Miquelonnaise and A.S. Ilienne Amateur. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was truncated to 12 matches instead of 16. The season began on 27 June 2020 instead of its normal May beginning and concluded on 19 September 2020.

The 2018–19 Coupe de France preliminary rounds, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté was the qualifying competition to decide which teams from the leagues of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France took part in the main competition from the seventh round.

The 2021 Ligue de Football de Saint Pierre et Miquelon season was the 36th edition of top-division Ligue de Football de Saint Pierre et Miquelon football in Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Three clubs competed in the league: AS Saint Pierraise, A.S. Miquelonnaise and A.S. Ilienne Amateur. The 4-month season kicked off on 26 May with a match between ASSP and Asia. ASSP won 3–0. In the second match of the season ASM defeated ASSP 3–1. The final match of the season was on 18 September 2021. Miquelonnaise clinched the championship after a 5–0 victory over Saint Pierraise in Match 20.

Bruno Ferry is a French football manager who has been the head coach of A.S. Miquelonnaise of the Ligue SPM since 2020. He is a former professional goalkeeper.
