The 2019 VBA season was the fourth season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The regular season began on 1 June 2019 and ended on 18 August 2019. The playoffs began on 24 August 2019 and ended on 31 August 2019. The finals began on 7 September 2019 and ended on 17 September 2019 with the Saigon Heat beating the Cantho Catfish in 5 games.

Ho Chi Minh City Municipality in Vietnam

Hồ Chí Minh, also commonly referred to as Saigon, is the largest city of Vietnam. Saigon Heat

Since the 2014 season, the Heat's home games are played at the CIS Arena on the campus of the Canadian International School in District 7. Saigon Heat is the first professional basketball team based in Vietnam.

The 2013 V.League 1 season was the 30th season of Vietnam's professional football league and began on 3 March 2013 and finished on 31 August 2013.

Triệu Hán Minh is a Vietnamese professional basketball player who currently plays for the Saigon Heat of the Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA).

Stefan Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Swedish professional basketball player for the Saigon Heat of the ABL and the Hanoi Buffaloes of the VBA. He is a VBA champion 2016 with Da Nang Dragons. He is a member of the Vietnamese Men's National Team and represented them last in the SEA GAMES 29 in Malaysia. Stefan holds two passports. Swedish and Vietnamese.

Vietnam Basketball Association

The Vietnam Basketball Association, often abbreviated as VBA, is a Vietnamese national professional basketball league founded in 2016.

The 2016 VBA season is the inaugural season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The regular season began on August 6, 2016 and ended on October 23, 2016. The playoffs began on October 26, 2016 and ended with the 2016 VBA Finals on November 16, 2016, with the Danang Dragons winning the inaugural VBA title after sweeping the Hochiminh City Wings in 2 games.

The 2017 VBA season was the second season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The regular season began on September 5, 2017 and end on November 5, 2017. The playoffs began on November 8, 2017 and ended on December 3, 2017, with the Thang Long Warriors beating the Cantho Catfish in 5 games to clinch their first VBA title.

Thang Long Warriors

The Thang Long Warriors is a Vietnamese professional basketball team founded in 2017 and based in Hanoi, Vietnam. They play in the Vietnam Basketball Association.

Tam Dinh is a Vietnamese-American professional basketball player for the Saigon Heat of the ASEAN Basketball League.

Lê Ngọc Tú is a Vietnamese professional basketball player who currently plays for the Hanoi Buffaloes of the Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA).

Rudolphe Joly basketball player (1992-)

Rudolphe "Rudy" Joly is a Haitian-Canadian professional basketball player. A Haiti native, he moved to Quebec City for school. Joly has competed at the college level in both the United States and Canada, with Sheridan College and Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). As a professional, he has played in both the NBL Canada and Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA), most notably winning the 2016 VBA championship and earning international MVP honors.

The 2018 VBA season was the third season of the Vietnam Basketball Association. The regular season began on June 16, 2018 and ended on August 16, 2018. The playoffs began on August 21, 2018 and ended on August 26, 2018. The finals began on September 4, 2018 and ended on September 9, 2018 with Cantho Catfish beating Hanoi Buffaloes in 3 games.

Nguyễn Văn Chiếu, baptismal name Peter) was a Vietnamese grand master of martial arts. He was the Chief of Vovinam Council from 27 September 2015 until his death.

Justin Young is a Vietnamese-American professional basketball player for the Thang Long Warriors of the Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA).

Vincent Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Dutch professional basketball player for the Hochiminh City Wings of the VBA.

Anthony January is an American professional basketball player who last played for Ostioneros de Guaymas of the Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacífico (CIBACOPA).
