Flag football is a variant of American football where, instead of tackling players to the ground, the defensive team must remove a flag or flag belt from the ball carrier ("deflagging") to end a down, and contact is not permitted between players. The international governing body for the sport is the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). It is an invitational sport for the 2022 World Games.

Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, formerly Fawcett Stadium, is a football stadium and entertainment complex in Canton, Ohio. It is a major component of Hall of Fame Village, located adjacent to the grounds of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The venue hosts the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game and serves as the home field for the football teams from Canton McKinley High School and Walsh University. It also served as the home field for Malone University from 1993 to 2018 and a number of other Canton-area high schools.
The IIHF World Junior Championship (WJC), or simply the "World Juniors" in ice hockey circles, are an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for national under-20 ice hockey teams from around the world. They are traditionally held in late December, ending in early January. The tournament usually attracts the top hockey players in this age category.
American Football Association of Finland is the national governing body of American football in Finland. It was founded in 1979 and it is a founding member of the European Federation of American Football, EFAF and International Federation of American Football, IFAF. Since 2000, American football has grown steadily. Though it can be considered to be one of Finland's smaller sports, in 2006 there were 27 clubs playing the sport with over 100 teams and over 1400 players. In 2012, the association's competitions fielded over 150 teams with more than 2200 licensed players.

The IFAF Junior World Cup took place in 2009 at Canton, Ohio. JWC games between the world’s eight best high school-aged national teams from five continents were played at Canton’s historic Fawcett Stadium, home of the NFL’s annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, adjacent to the Hall. The action began on Saturday, June 27 and continued on Wednesday, July 1 and Saturday, July 4, before the Championship Game on Sunday, July 5.
American football was featured in the Summer Olympic Games demonstration programme in 1904 and 1932. College football was played at the 1904 Olympics, which was played at Francis Field, but was, in reality, college teams playing each other as part of their regular seasons. They competed for their first and only IFAF World Championship in 2011.
The 2015 IFAF World Championship was the fifth instance of the IFAF World Championship, an international American football tournament. The United States hosted the tournament. Seven teams had confirmed their participation for the tournament in Canton, Ohio.
The 2012 IFAF U-19 World Championship took place in 2012 at Austin, Texas. These championship match the world’s eight best high school-aged national American football teams from five continents shall be played at 12,000-capacity Burger Stadium in Austin Texas, a football and soccer venue. The action began on Saturday, June 30 and ran through Saturday, July 8. To win the Gold Medal #2 ranked Canada had to defeat #7 Sweden, #3 Japan and finally #1 USA in the Championship game. The hard road to success turned in a fantastic finish to a great tournament. In doing so, Canada avenged its 50-7 loss in the 2011 IFAF World Championship and handed the U.S. national team its first ever loss in international competition.
The Canada National Football Junior Team a.k.a. the Football Canada World Junior Team represent Canada in international gridiron football competitions. The football program is part of the football development program and is controlled by Football Canada and is recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). It is the premiere team in male development for the organization. While Football Canada is the governing body for amateur Canadian football, IFAF-sponsored games are played using American football rules. Team Canada first competed on the world stage in the NFL Global Junior Championship in 2000 with a championship victory over Team Europe. They competed for their first IFAF Junior World Cup in 2009.
The 2014 IFAF U19 World Championship was the third edition of the IFAF U19 World Championship, an international American football tournament for junior teams. It was hosted by Kuwait from July 7 to July 16, with four games each day of the 7th, 10th, 13th, and two medal games each on the 15th and 16th. The teams participating were Canada, reigning champion; Austria, France and Germany, which won qualification at the 2013 European Junior Championship; Kuwait, as host, in their first time in the tournament; Japan, as Asia's participant; USA representing the Americas; and Mexico, which classified by beating Panama.
The 2021 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships were the 45th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. It began on December 25, 2020, and ended with the gold medal game on January 5, 2021. This marks the 14th time that Canada hosts the WJIHC. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, it was hosted in a "bubble" behind closed doors in Edmonton, Alberta, with no spectators admitted for any game.

The 2018 IFAF U-19 World Championship was an international American football tournament for junior teams that took place at Mexico City from July 15 to July 22. This was the first time that Mexico hosted an IFAF World Junior Championship competition.
The 2024 IFAF World Junior Championship is a scheduled international American football tournament for junior teams. The competition is co-hosted by Football Canada and Football Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta in June and July of 2024. Although Football Canada has won the most IFAF World Junior Championships with three, the country has not hosted the event since it started in 2009.
The IFAF Junior World Championship or IFAF Junior World Cup is a biennial competition for American football which ran from 2009-2020 and was the precursor of the quadrennial IFAF U20 World Cup with the first event scheduled for 2024 in Canada.
