The 2020 UEC European Track Championships was the eleventh edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Kolodruma in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, between 11 and 15 November 2020. [1] The event was organised by the European Cycling Union. All European champions are awarded the UEC European Champion jersey which may be worn by the champion throughout the year when competing in the same event at other competitions.

Dame Laura Rebecca Kenny, Lady Kenny is a British track and road cyclist who specialises in track endurance events, specifically the team pursuit, omnium, scratch race, elimination race and madison disciplines. With six Olympic medals, having won both the team pursuit and the omnium at both the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and madison at the 2020 Olympics, along with a silver medal from the team pursuit at the 2020 Olympics, she is both the most successful female cyclist, and the most successful British female athlete, in Olympic history. Her husband, Sir Jason Kenny, holds the same records on the male side, and together they are the most successful married couple in Olympic history where both spouses have won at least one gold medal . Since first appearing at the European Track Championships in 2010, she has won seven World Championship, 14 European Championship and two Commonwealth Games titles, as part of a total of 34 medals. On the road, Kenny won the British National Road Race Championships in 2014, taking the under-23 title in the same race, but has not competed since 2015.

Denis Sergeyevich Dmitriev is a Russian track cyclist. Specialising in the sprint events, Dmitriev's best result in international sports was winning a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in Hong Kong. At the 2016 Summer Olympics he succeeded to the bronze medal race in sprint, winning the medal. Dmitriev is a four-time European Champion at senior level in the Sprint event for men, and the most successful sprint cyclist in the competitions's history.

Elinor Jane Barker is a Welsh road and track racing cyclist, who last rode professionally on the road for UCI Women's Team Drops. Representing Welsh Cycling and Great Britain in international competitions, Barker is an Olympic, two-time world and six-time European champion in the team pursuit, as well as a two-time world champion in the points race and scratch race. Barker was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to cycling.

The 2022 UEC European Track Championships were the twelfth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at Messe München in Munich, Germany, from 11 to August 2022, as part of the 2022 European Championships. This was the second edition of this event, after 2018, which takes place as part of the wider European Championships multi-sport event.
