The 2021 Canadian Curling Pre-Trials Direct-Entry Event was held from September 22 to 26 at the RA Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. [1] The event was held to qualify two men's teams and two women's teams for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials.

Qualification process

Eight men's teams and eight women's team qualified for the event based on their ranking from the World Curling Team Rankings as of July 2021. [1] Teams also had to have three of their four members from their 2020–21 season lineups still intact.

The qualification event for the 2013 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials, was held from November 5 to 10 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex in Kitchener, Ontario.

The 2013 Masters Grand Slam of Curling was held from October 29 to November 3 at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre in Abbotsford, British Columbia as part of the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. The Masters was the first Grand Slam on the men's tour and the third Grand Slam on the women's tour. The purses for both the men's and the women's events were CAD$100,000 each.

The 2016 Humpty's Champions Cup was held from April 26 to May 1 at the Sherwood Park Arena Sports Centre in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This was the final Grand Slam event of the 2015–16 curling season and is the seventh men's Grand Slam and the sixth women's Grand Slam of the season. The teams were split into 3 round-robin pools of 5 teams each, and the top eight teams overall will qualify for the playoff round.

The 2016 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling was held from November 30 to December 4 at Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon, Manitoba.

The 2017 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials were held from December 2 to 10 at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata, Ottawa, Ontario. The winners of the men's and women's events would represent Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The 2017 BOOST National was held from November 14 to 19 at the Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This was the third Grand Slam of Curling event of the 2017–18 curling season.

The 2018 Home Hardware Canada Cup was held December 5–9 at Affinity Place in Estevan, Saskatchewan. The tournament winners qualified for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials.

The 2019 Meridian Canadian Open was held from January 8 to 13 at the Civic Centre in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. This will be the fifth Grand Slam event and third "major" of the 2018–19 curling season.

The 2019 Home Hardware Canada Cup was held from November 27 – December 1 at Sobeys Arena in Leduc, Alberta. The tournament winners were the first qualifiers for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials.

The 2019 Masters were held from October 22 to 27, at the North Bay Memorial Gardens in North Bay, Ontario. It was the first Grand Slam and first major of the 2019–20 season.

The 2019 BOOST National was held from December 10 to 15, at the Conception Bay South Arena in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador. It was the third Grand Slam and second major of the 2019–20 season.

The 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials were held from November 20 to 28 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The winners of the men's and women's events represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The 2021 Korean Curling Championships, Korea's national curling championships, were held from June 23 to July 3 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea. The winning teams on both the men's and women's sides became the Korean National Teams for the 2021–22 curling season. They represented Korea at the 2021 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, 2022 World Women's Curling Championship, 2022 World Men's Curling Championship and the Olympic Qualification Event in attempts to reach the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. The 2021 United States Olympic Curling Trials was held from November 12 to 21, 2021 at the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. The trials featured six men's teams and six women's teams who played in a double round robin tournament. After the round robin, the top two teams on each side played a best-of-three playoff to determine the winner. The winner of both the men's and women's events will represent the United States at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.

The 2022 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials, also known as the Canad Inns Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials, was scheduled to be held from December 28, 2021, to January 2, 2022, at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winners of this event were to represent Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics. On December 26, 2021, it was announced that the event would be cancelled due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts</span> Canadas womens curling championship

The 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 17 to 26 at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia. The winning Kerri Einarson team will represent Canada at the 2023 World Women's Curling Championship at the Göransson Arena in Sandviken, Sweden.
