This is a list of the squads of the six franchise teams which competed in the 2021 Kashmir Premier League, a 20-over cricket league. The draft was planned to take place on 3 April 2021 but was later moved to 3 July due to the tournament being rescheduled from June to August. The draft took place in Islamabad. Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is a Pakistani former cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. An all-rounder, Afridi was a right-handed leg spinner and a right-handed batsman.

Rawalakot Hawks is a Pakistani professional T20 franchise cricket team competes in the Kashmir Premier League. They are captained by Ahmed Shehzad and coached by Arshad Khan. The franchise represents Rawalakot, the capital of Poonch district.
Mirpur Royals is a Pakistani professional T20 franchise cricket team that takes part in the Kashmir Premier League. They are captained by Shoaib Malik, coached by former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq and owned by Abdul Wajid. The team represents the city of Mirpur, the capital of the Mirpur District.
The 2021 Kashmir Premier League, was the inaugural season of the Kashmir Premier League which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The tournament featured six teams and was held from 6 August 2021 to 17 August 2021 in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. The opening ceremony and first match of the tournament were held at the Muzaffarabad Stadium on 6 August 2021.
The 2021 Kashmir Premier League Final was a 20-over cricket match played on 17 August 2021, at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, Muzaffarabad between Muzaffarabad Tigers and Rawalakot Hawks to determine the winner of the 2021 edition of the Kashmir Premier League.
The players draft for the 2021 Kashmir Premier League took place on 3 July 2021 at the Tulip Banquet Hall in Islamabad. A total of 413 players signed up for the KPL. The players were divided into 7 categories: Icon, Overseas, Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging. The emerging category was further divided into Overseas Kashmiris, Local Kashmiris and Non-Kashmiris. Each team chose 1 Icon player, 1 Overseas player, 1 Platinum player, 2 Diamond players, 2 Gold players, 3 Silver players and 5 Emerging players. Many people attended the draft including Chairman of the Kashmir Committee Shehryar Khan Afridi, Senator Faisal Javed, President of the KPL: Arif Malik and CEO of the KPL: Chaudhary Shahzad Akhtar.

Mirpur Royals is a franchise cricket team that represents Mirpur, Azad Kashmir in the Kashmir Premier League. They were coached by Inzamam-ul-Haq and captained by Shoaib Malik.
Bagh Stallions is a franchise cricket team that represents Bagh in the Kashmir Premier League. They were coached by Abdul Rehman and captained by Shan Masood. Originally Shadab Khan was appointed as the captain of the team but Shan Masood took over as captain in place of Khan, who was occupied with the national team.
The players draft for the 2022 Kashmir Premier League took place on 21 July 2022. The players were divided into 7 categories: Icon, Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging and Kashmiri. Each team chose 2 platinum players, 2 diamond players, 2 gold players, 4 silver players, 2 emerging players and 5 Kashmiri players. The 2022 KPL did not feature foreign players.

Overseas Warriors is a franchise cricket team that represents Kotli in the Kashmir Premier League. Asad Shafiq was the captain and Azam Khan was the coach of the team. Asad Shafiq was announced as Overseas Warriors’ icon player.
