The Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium is a cricket stadium in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. The stadium is situated near Azad Jammu Kashmir Medical College. It has hosted all the matches of the Kashmir Premier League so far.
The Kashmir Premier League is a professional Twenty20 cricket league organized by Pakistan Cricket Board in Azad Kashmir. The league was founded in 2021. It consists of seven franchises; six teams representing major cities in Kashmir, while one team is representing the Kashmiri diaspora. Each team plays the group stage matches in a single round-robin tournament with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs and ultimately for the final. Matches played in the Kashmir Premier League do not have official T20 status.

Rawalakot Hawks is a Pakistani professional T20 franchise cricket team competes in the Kashmir Premier League. They are captained by Ahmed Shehzad and coached by Arshad Khan. The franchise represents Rawalakot, the capital of Poonch district.
Mirpur Royals is a Pakistani professional T20 franchise cricket team that takes part in the Kashmir Premier League. They are captained by Shoaib Malik, coached by former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq and owned by Abdul Wajid. The team represents the city of Mirpur, the capital of the Mirpur District.
Kotli Lions is a Pakistani professional T20 franchise that takes part in the Kashmir Premier League. The team is captained by Khurram Manzoor and coached by Mushtaq Ahmed. The franchise represents the city of Kotli, the capital of the Kotli District.
The 2021 Kashmir Premier League, was the inaugural season of the Kashmir Premier League which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The tournament featured six teams and was held from 6 August 2021 to 17 August 2021 in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. The opening ceremony and first match of the tournament were held at the Muzaffarabad Stadium on 6 August 2021.

The draft was planned to take place on 3 April 2021 but was later moved to 3 July due to the tournament being rescheduled from June to August. The draft took place in Islamabad. Each franchise was required to select a total of 5 emerging players. The tournament was held entirely in Muzaffarabad.

The match was abandoned due to rain and Mirpur were awarded the title due to their better position in the points table.
