The 2021 Penn State Nittany Lions men's volleyball team represented Pennsylvania State University in the 2021 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Nittany Lions, led by 27th-year head coach Mark Pavlik, played their home games at Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions were members of the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and were picked to win the EIVA in the preseason poll. [1] The Nittany Lions played mostly a conference schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After winning the EIVA regular season and conference tournament titles the Nittany Lions qualified for the NCAA Tournament. After winning the opening round match the Nittany Lions fell in the semifinals to Lewis.

The Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) is a college athletic conference whose member schools compete in men's volleyball. Its member institutions are located in the Northeast United States.
The Penn State Nittany Lions are the athletic teams of Pennsylvania State University, except for the women's basketball team, known as the Lady Lions. The school colors are navy blue and white. The school mascot is the Nittany Lion. The intercollegiate athletics logo was commissioned in 1983.
The Penn State Nittany Lions men's volleyball program has had a long tradition at Penn State University. Founded by Tom Tait, Tait coached the team from 1976 to 1989, and was named a USA Volleyball All-Time great coach in 2007.

It was held April 16 through April 24, 2021 at campus sites. The winner received The Association's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.

The 2022 Harvard Crimson men's volleyball team represents Harvard University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Crimson, led by 12th year head coach Brian Baise, play their home games at Malkin Athletic Center. The Crimson are members of the EIVA and return to play after missing the 2021 season due to the corona virus cancelled Ivy League seasons. They were picked to finish sixth in the EIVA preseason poll.
George Thomas Tait was an American professor, author, and volleyball coach. Tait founded both the Penn State Nittany Lions women's volleyball and Penn State Nittany Lions men's volleyball teams beginning in 1974. Since then, the teams have won a combined 9 NCAA national championships. Because of his success in developing the Penn State programs, he was known as the "founding father" of Penn State volleyball.

The Warriors, led by first year head coach Ray Lewis, play their home games at Hammel Court. The Warriors play in the newly created Northeast Conference men's volleyball conference. They were picked to finish seventh in the conference preseason poll.

The 2023 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Volleyball Tournament is a postseason men's volleyball tournament for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation during the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It is scheduled for April 19 through April 22, 2023 at the Maples Pavilion on the campus of Stanford University. The Venue was chosen before the season started. All games will be streamed live on FloVolleyball.
