Camila Osorio defeated Tamara Zidanšek in the final, 5–7, 6–3, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2021 Copa Colsanitas. It was the Colombian teenage wildcard's first WTA Tour singles title. Ranked No. 180, Osorio became the lowest-ranked WTA title holder since world No. 299 Margarita Gasparyan at the 2018 Tashkent Open. Zidanšek was also in contention for her first WTA title.
Sorana Cîrstea defeated Elise Mertens in the final, 6–1, 7–6(7–3) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 İstanbul Cup. This was Cîrstea's first title since 2008. Cîrstea did not drop a set throughout the tournament.

The 2021 Thoreau Tennis Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the second edition of the tournament which is part of the 2021 WTA 125K series. The tournament had been upgraded from ITF 60K to WTA 125K, marking its first edition as a challenger event. It took place in Concord, United States between 2 and 8 August 2021. The tournament could not be staged in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
This was the first edition of the women's event.
Kayla Day and Sophia Whittle were the defending champions but chose not to participate.
Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 7–5, 6–0 to win the women's singles title at the 2022 Rosmalen Grass Court Championships. It was her second WTA Tour singles title, and Alexandrova won the title despite being two points from defeat in the first round.
Yulia Putintseva was the defending champion, but was defeated in the semifinals by Aleksandra Krunić.
Liudmila Samsonova defeated Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the final, 6–1, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Tennis in the Land. It was Samsonova's third career WTA Tour title, and she won the title without dropping a set. It was also her second straight title, following Washington three weeks earlier.
