The 2021 Women's LEN Super Cup was the 15th edition of the annual trophy organised by LEN and contested by the reigning champions of the two European competitions for Women's water polo clubs. The match was an all-Greek derby between European champions Olympiacos Piraeus of Greece (winners of the 2020–21 LEN Euro League Women) and Kinef Kirishi of Russia (winners of the 2020–21 Women's LEN Trophy). The match was held in Piraeus, Greece, on 17 December 2021. [1]

The LEN Women's Euro Cup, formerly the Women's LEN Trophy, is LEN's second-tier competition for women's water polo clubs. It was first held in 2000 as the LEN Women's Cup Winners' Cup. It was contested for many seasons by around 15 teams, which could qualify for it either directly due to high ranking in their domestic league or by being eliminated at certain stages of the Champions' Cup. After the last reformations in the European competitions system by LEN, only four teams contesting for the trophy, coming after elimination at that season's LEN Euro League quarterfinals stage. The Greek Women's Water Polo A1 League is the premier championship for women's water polo teams in Greece. It was founded in 1988, and it is currently contested by twelve teams. Greek League is ranked as one of the top national domestic leagues in European water polo. The champion, the runner-up and the third-placed team qualify for the LEN Euro League.

Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Club is the women's water polo department of the major Greek multi-sport club Olympiacos, based in Piraeus. The department was founded in 1988 and they play their games at the 1000-seated Papastrateio "Petros Kapagerof" Pool in Piraeus.
