The 2022 European Para Youth Games were the 6th edition of the European Para Youth Games (EPYG), a multi-sport event for young para-athletes aged between 13 and 23 from the member countries of the European Paralympic Committee (EPC). [1] [2] [3] [4] They were held between 27 June and 4 July 2022 in Lahti, Finland. 415 athletes from 28 countries took part. [5] This was the second time Lahti had hosted the event, having also hosted the previous edition in 2019.

The 2015 IBSA Judo European Championships were held in Odivelas, Portugal, from 25–30 November 2015. It was held at the Multiusos Sports Hall in the city. Sevda Altunoluk is a Turkish Paralympian goalball player competing for Yenimahalle Belediyespor in Ankara. She is a member of the national team, and was named several times as Top goalscorer. In 2021 she was named as one of the BBC's 100 Women.

The IBSA World Games or World Blind Games are an international multi-sport event, occurring every four years, organized by the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA). The events enable blind and partially sighted athletes to compete in a number of sports. The first event took place at Madrid, Spain in 1998.
