The 2022 Quaife Mini Challenge season was the twenty first season of the Mini Challenge UK. The season began on 23 April at Donington Park and ended on 9 October at Brands Hatch. It included twenty rounds across the UK, all the JCW Class races and 3 of the Cooper Class races support the British Touring Car Championship

Championship points were awarded for the all finishing positions in each Championship Race. Entries were required to complete 75% of the winning car's race distance in order to be classified and earn points. There were bonus points awarded for Pole Position and Fastest Lap. Any driver that finishes the race in 20th or below will receive 15 points. Only drivers that do not finish will not score.

The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship is a touring car racing series held each year in the United Kingdom, currently organised and administered by TOCA. It was established in 1958 as the British Saloon Car Championship and was renamed as the British Touring Car Championship for the 1987 season. The championship, currently running Next Generation Touring Car regulations, has been run to various national and international regulations over the years including FIA Group 2, FIA Group 5, FIA Group 1, FIA Group A, FIA Super Touring and FIA Super 2000. A lower-key Group N class for production cars ran from 2000 until 2003.

He won his first BTCC race at the first round of the 2016 season at Brands Hatch. Ingram is the 2022 British Touring Car champion.

Hunter Abbott is a British racing driver and businessman. He has raced sportscars, GT cars and Touring Cars. He was 2017 Blancpain GT Series Asia Champion and won the RAC Trophy after victory in the 2021 Silverstone 500 race.
Max Peter Coates is a British racing driver currently competing in the 2022 Mini Challenge UK. He is a former Clio Cup UK competitor but has since moved factors as the Clio Cup withdrew from being a British Touring Car Championship support race. This, the sixth season, following on from the British Formula Ford Championship, was also the sixth year that the cars conformed to the FIA's Formula 4 regulations. Part of the TOCA tour, it formed part of the extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece.
