The 2022 Quaife Mini Challenge season was the twenty first season of the Mini Challenge UK. The season began on 23 April at Donington Park and ended on 9 October at Brands Hatch. It included twenty rounds across the UK, all the JCW Class races and 3 of the Cooper Class races support the British Touring Car Championship

Championship points were awarded for the all finishing positions in each Championship Race. Entries were required to complete 75% of the winning car's race distance in order to be classified and earn points. There were bonus points awarded for Pole Position and Fastest Lap. Any driver that finishes the race in 20th or below will receive 15 points. Only drivers that do not finish will not score.

The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship is a touring car racing series held each year in the United Kingdom, currently organised and administered by TOCA. It was established in 1958 as the British Saloon Car Championship and was renamed as the British Touring Car Championship for the 1987 season. The championship, currently running Next Generation Touring Car regulations, has been run to various national and international regulations over the years including FIA Group 2, FIA Group 5, FIA Group 1, FIA Group A, FIA Super Touring and FIA Super 2000. A lower-key Group N class for production cars ran from 2000 until 2003.
Tom Ferrier is a British racing driver. He had a long running karting career, a milestone was winning the 1998 British Championship. He also won the Star Cup of the Formula Renault Championship the following year, before switching to more entertaining and less competitive saloon cars.
Adrian Rodney Quaife-Hobbs is a British former racing driver, notable for being the youngest driver to win the T Cars championship and the youngest ever winner of a MSA-sanctioned car racing series.
Charles Butler-Henderson is a British auto racing driver who now works as a racing instructor and presenter. He is part of a family which has strong links with motorsport. His father was a karting champion, and his sister Vicki also races and is a television motorsport presenter.
Tom Ingram is a British racing driver, currently racing in the British Touring Car Championship for Team Bristol Street Motors. Having won the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2010 and the G50 class of the Ginetta GT Supercup in 2011, Ingram was named a British Racing Drivers' Club Rising Star in 2011. He won his first BTCC race at the first round of the 2016 season at Brands Hatch. Ingram is the 2022 British Touring Car champion.
Andrew Robert Watson is a British racing driver from Northern Ireland currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship for Toyota Gazoo Racing UK.
Jake Hill is a British racing driver who is currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship for Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport. He has also driven for Motorbase Performance, Rob Austin Racing, AmD Tuning and Team HARD.
Sarah Claire Moore is a British racing driver. She won the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2009 and competed in the InterSteps Championship in 2011. She was awarded the Rising Star status by the British Racing Drivers' Club in 2009. Moore was the first female racing driver to win a TOCA-sanctioned race, and the first to win a junior mixed-gender, national-level series in the UK. She is the first female to have won the Britcar Endurance Championship.
