The New South Wales Rugby League is administering several competitions during the 2022 rugby league season in Australia.
The 2022 season of the Knock-On Effect New South Wales Cup commenced on the weekend of 12–13 March 2022. [1] [2] Teams played 24 regular competition rounds, with the top five teams qualifying for the final series in September.
Penrith Panthers won the 2022 NSW Cup grand final, defeating Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 29–22 at CommBank Stadium to take their fourth premiership in this competition.
There are 12 teams competing in the 2022 NSW Cup.

The 2022 season of the Harvey Norman NSWRL Women's Premiership commenced on 23 April 2022. [8] [9] [10] The competition is scheduled to run for nine rounds, with Round 9 to be played on the weekend of 2–4 July 2022, and a four-team, two-week finals series to follow in July. There were nine clubs in competition.

A full round of matches (Round 5) was washed out, with the seven games scheduled designated as a nil-all draw. A Round 6 match between Balmain Tigers and Sydney Roosters was deemed a draw after an electrical storm curtailed play early in the second half, when the score was 6–12. The competition ran from 5 February to 30 April 2022.

Jamie Feeney is the coach of the Gold Coast Titans NRLW team, and an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played as a second-row and lock for Canterbury Bankstown and the Melbourne Storm in the NRL.
The NSW Cup, currently known as the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a rugby league competition for clubs in New South Wales. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state. The NSW Cup was the Reserve Grade/Presidents Cup/First Division from 1908 until 2002, and the NSWRL Premier League from 2003 to 2007, the NSW Cup from 2008 to 2015, the Intrust Super Premiership NSW from 2016 to 2018, the Canterbury Cup NSW from 2019 to 2020. The New South Wales Cup, along with the Queensland Cup, acts as a feeder competition to the National Rugby League premiership. The competition is the oldest continuous rugby league competition in the Australia.
The 2004 NRL season was the 97th season of professional rugby league football in Australia, and the seventh run by the National Rugby League. Fifteen clubs competed during the regular season before the top eight finishing teams contested the finals series. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs defeated the Sydney Roosters in the 2004 NRL grand final and in doing so claimed their eighth premiership.
The Jersey Flegg Cup is a junior rugby league competition played in New South Wales, Australia, contested among teams made up of players aged 21 or under. The competition is administered by the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL), and is named for Eastern Suburbs foundation player and prominent administrator of the game, Harry "Jersey" Flegg.
The Wentworthville Magpies, colloquially known as Wenty, are a rugby league team based in the suburb of Wentworthville in Sydney's Western Suburbs. Founded in 1963, the club has competed in various Sydney district competitions and, since 2003, the semi-professional Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield competitions in NSW, Australia. The club also fielded a team in the Canterbury Cup NSW as part of a joint-venture with the Parramatta Eels between 2008 and 2019 acting as Parramatta's feeder club.
The Central Coast Roosters, formerly Central Coast Centurions, are an Australian rugby league football club based in the Central Coast region in New South Wales. They competed in the New South Wales Cup which they exited in 2011. The club still competes in the NSWRL Women's Premiership, S. G. Ball Cup and Harold Matthews Cup competitions.
The Hills District Bulls is a Parramatta District junior rugby league football club which play in Baulkham Hills at Crestwood Oval. They have played in the Parramatta District since 1964. They field teams in all age groups including C-Grade, A-Grade, Sydney Shield and Ron Massey Cup competitions.
The Mounties Rugby League Football Club is an Australian rugby league football club based in Mount Pritchard, New South Wales formed in 1927. They currently play in the Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield.

The Hastings Deering Colts is a junior rugby league competition based in Queensland, contested among teams made up of players aged 21 or under.
