The 2022 South American Under-20 Futsal Championship, stylized as CONMEBOL SUB20 Futsal 2022, was the 9th edition of the South American Under-20 Futsal Championship (Spanish : Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 de Futsal), the biennial international youth futsal championship organised by the CONMEBOL for the men's under-20 national teams of South America. The tournament was held in La Guaira State, Venezuela between 9–17 September 2023. [1]
All ten CONMEBOL member national teams entered the tournament.

The South American Football Confederation is the continental governing body of football in South America and it is one of FIFA's six continental confederations. The oldest continental confederation in the world, its headquarters are located in Luque, Paraguay, near Asunción. CONMEBOL is responsible for the organization and governance of South American football's major international tournaments. With 10 member football associations, it has the fewest members of all the confederations in FIFA.
The Sudamericano de Futsal Sub-20, branded as CONMEBOL Sub20 Futsal, is the U-20 version of Copa América de Futsal.
The 2013 South American Under-17 Women's Football Championship is the fourth instance of the South American Under-17 Women's Football Championship. It was played from 12 to 29 September in Paraguay. The top three teams qualified to the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup to be held in Costa Rica. The tournament was won by Venezuela, winning their first title.

A biennial event, the tournament takes place for the first time in four years after being unable to take place in 2021 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in South America.
