The 2022 West Coast Conference baseball tournament will be held from May 25 through 28 at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. The six team tournament winner will earn the league's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. [2]
The top six finishers from the regular season will be seeded one through six based on conference winning percentage. Teams 1 and 2 will have a bye into the double elimination bracket while 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5 in a single elimination first round. [3]

The West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament is the annual concluding tournament for the NCAA college basketball in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The winner of the tournament each year is guaranteed a place in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament for that season. Through 2008, the tournament was played on a rotating basis at the home courts of member teams. The 2009 edition was the first played at a neutral site, namely Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada, just outside Las Vegas. The semifinals are broadcast nationally on ESPN2 and the championship is broadcast nationally on ESPN.

The 2012–13 Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball team represented Loyola Marymount University during the 2012–13. This was head coach Max Good's fifth season at Loyola Marymount. The Lions competed in the West Coast Conference and played their home games at Gersten Pavilion. They finished the season 11–23, 1–15 in WCC play to finish in last place. Despite only winning only one conference game during the regular season, they won three games during the WCC tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to #1 Gonzaga.

The 2012–13 San Diego Toreros women's basketball team represented the University of San Diego in the 2012–13 college basketball season. The Toreros, members of the West Coast Conference, were led by head coach Cindy Fisher, in her 8th season at the school. The Toreros played their home games at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on the university campus in San Diego, California. For the season the Toreros went 22–10, 12–4 in conference, and finished 2nd in the WCC. They qualified for the 2013 Women's National Invitation Tournament where they lost to Utah in the 2nd Round.
The 2012–13 Pepperdine Waves women's basketball team represented Pepperdine University in the 2012–13 college basketball season. The Waves, members of the West Coast Conference, were led by head coach Julie Rousseau, in her 9th and final season at the school. The Waves played their home games at the Firestone Fieldhouse on the university campus in Malibu, California. They finished the season 5-23, 2–14 in conference, and were 9th place in the conference standings. They lost in the first round of the WCC Tournament to conclude their season and the coaching career of Rousseau at Pepperdine. Rousseau would resign on April 3, 2013, after compiling a 123–144 record at Pepperdine with 3 NCAA Tournament appearances.
The 2012–13 Saint Mary's Gaels women's basketball team represented Saint Mary's College of California in the 2012–13 college basketball season. It was head coach Paul Thomas's seventh season at Saint Mary's. The Gaels, members of the West Coast Conference, played their home games at the McKeon Pavilion. They finished the season at 23–11, 11–5 in conference play, and clinched the #3 seed in the WCC Tourney. After losing in the semifinals of the WCC Tournament, Saint Mary's was invited to participate in the 2013 Women's National Invitation Tournament, where they advanced to the quarterfinal round before being eliminated.

The four team, double-elimination tournament, outside of the championship game, which is winner takes all, winner earned the league's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The NCAA approved the use of experimental instant replay rules during the event. These rules are generally only in force during the College World Series, and allow umpires to use video to review fair/foul, home run, and spectator interference calls. The WCC made history in the Gonzaga/ Santa Clara elimination game when they had the first collegiate baseball review in history. The feat would be repeated in the WCC Championship, marking the second time replay has been used in a collegiate baseball game.

The 2017–18 Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Gonzaga University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by head coach Mark Few, who was in his 19th season as head coach. The team played its home games at McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington. This was the Bulldogs 38th season as a member of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 32–5, 17–1 in WCC play to win the WCC regular season championship. They defeated Loyola Marymount, San Francisco and BYU to become champions of the WCC tournament. They received the WCC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated UNC Greensboro and Ohio State to advance to the Sweet Sixteen where they lost to Florida State.

The 2022 BYU Cougars baseball team represented Brigham Young University during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. Mike Littlewood began the season as acting head coach of the Cougars for a tenth consecutive season. However, on April 11 Littlewood announced he was stepping away from BYU Baseball due to personal reasons that were undisclosed. Assistant coach Trent Pratt was named acting head coaching for the remainder of the season.
