The 2023 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the fifth staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 60th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship ran from 25 March to 4 June 2023.

Contents

Kilkenny entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Wexford in the Leinster semi-final. [1] [2] [3]

The final was played on 4 June 2023 at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles, between Cork and Offaly, in what was their first ever championship meeting. Cork won the match by 2-22 to 3-13 to claim their 14th championship title overall and a first title in two years. [4]

Offaly's Adam Screeney was the championship's top scorer with 2-59.

The series of games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association and are played during the summer months with the All-Ireland Minor Football Final being played on the third Sunday in September 2010 in Croke Park, Dublin.

The 1963 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 33rd staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928.

The 2002 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 72nd staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship. The championship began on 14 April 2002 and ended on 8 September 2002.

The 2013 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 83rd staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 11 April 2013 and ended on 8 September 2013.

The 2014 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship is the 84th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship for players under the age of eighteen since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 9 April 2014 and will end on 7 September 2014.

The 2015 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 85th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship for players under the age of eighteen since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 8 April 2014 and ended on 6 September 2014.

The 2016 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 86th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. It is the primary inter-county hurling championship for boys under the age of eighteen. The championship began on 6 April 2016 and ended on 4 September 2016.

The 2017 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 87th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. It is the primary inter-county hurling championship for boys under the age of eighteen. The championship began on 5 April 2017 and ended on 3 September 2017.

The 2018 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 88th staging of the All-Ireland minor hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. It is the primary inter-county hurling competition for boys aged between fifteen and seventeen. The championship began on 12 May 2018 and ended on 19 August 2018.

The 2019 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 89th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship began on 27 April 2019 and ended on 18 August 2019.

The 2022 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the fourth staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 59th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship began on 2 April 2022 and ended on 22 May 2022.

The 2023 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 93rd staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship ran from 21 March to 4 June 2023.

The 2024 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship is scheduled to be the 94th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship is scheduled to run from 23 March to June 2024.
