The 2023 FIBA U17 South American Championship was the 27th edition of the South American basketball championship for men's under-17 national teams. The tournament was played in Valledupar, Colombia, from 16 to 20 November 2023. [1] [2]
In the first round, the teams were drawn into two groups of four. The first two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals; the third and fourth teams advanced to the 5th–8th place playoffs.

The 2007 FIBA Americas Championships later known as the FIBA AmeriCup, was a basketball tournament held at Thomas & Mack Center, in Las Vegas, from August 22, to September 2. It was the thirteenth staging of the FIBA AmeriCup.
The USA women's national under-17 basketball team is the women's basketball team, administered by USA Basketball, that represents the United States in international under-17 and under-16 women's basketball competitions, consisting mainly of the FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship for Women and FIBA Under-17 World Championship for Women.
