The 2023 South American U-15 Championship will be the 10th edition of the South American U-15 Championship (Spanish : CONMEBOL Sudamericano Sub-15), the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONMEBOL for the men's under-15 national teams of South America. CONMEBOL initially planned to hold the championship in Bolivia between 17 November to 3 December 2023, [1] [2] but on 16 October 2023 it was announced that the tournament would be postponed to 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances. [3]

The South American U-15 Championship returns after 4 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic which forced CONMEBOL to cancel the tournament in 2021.

Brazil are the defending champions.

All ten CONMEBOL member national teams entered the tournament. Moreover, invited teams from UEFA are to be confirmed.

Venues

Bolivia was named as host country of the tournament during the CONMEBOL Council meeting on 30 September 2022. [2] [4] This will be the fourth time that Bolivia host the tournament, having previously done so in 2005, 2009 and 2013. Bolivia was also initially selected to host the previous edition in 2019, however, the tournament had to be rescheduled in Paraguay as Bolivia was unable to host it due to the 2019 Bolivian protests. [5]

Santa Cruz was announced as host city with Estadio Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera as venue. [5]

The 2022 South American U-17 Women's Championship was the 7th edition of the South American U-17 Women's Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONMEBOL for the women's under-17 national teams of South America. It was held in Montevideo, Uruguay from 1 to 19 March 2022.

The 2023 South American U-20 Championship was the 30th edition of the South American U-20 Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONMEBOL for the men's under-20 national teams of South America. It was held in Colombia between 19 January and 12 February 2023.

The 2023 South American U-20 Championship will be an international football tournament to be held in Colombia from 19 January to 12 February 2023. The ten national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of a minimum of 19 and a maximum of 23 players, including at least three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. The tournament exclusively requires players to be born between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2007 to be eligible, that is, they must be a maximun of 20 years old and at least 16 years old.

The 2023 South American U-17 Championship will be an international football tournament to be held in Ecuador from 30 March to 23 April 2023. The ten national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of a minimum of 19 and a maximum of 23 players, including at least three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. The tournament exclusively requires players to be born between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2008 to be eligible, that is, they must be a maximun of 17 years old and at least 15 years old.
