Spikers' Turf

The 2023 Spikers' Turf Open Conference was the sixteenth conference and the start of the sixth season of the Spikers' Turf. [1] The tournament began on January 22, 2023, with a total of eleven teams, including four new teams at the Paco Arena, Paco, Manila. [2] This is the first conference of the league to use a Video Challenge.

Format

Preliminary round
  1. The eleven teams are competing in a single round-robin elimination.
  2. Top four teams advance to semifinals.
Semifinals
  1. The four teams will compete again in a single round-robin elimination.
  2. The third and fourth-ranked teams will relegate to the 3rd place series.
  3. The first and second-ranked teams will advance to the championship series.
Finals
  1. Best-of-three series.
  2. Bronze medal: SF Ranked 3 vs. SF Ranked 4
  3. Gold medal: SF Ranked 1 vs. SF Ranked 2

Pool standing procedure

  1. Number of matches won
  2. Match points
  3. Sets ratio
  4. Points ratio
  5. If the tie continues as per the point ratio between two teams, the priority will be given to the team which won the last match between them. When the tie in points ratio is between three or more teams, a new classification of these teams in the terms of points 1, 2 and 3 will be made taking into consideration only the matches in which they were opposed to each other.

Match won 3–0 or 3–1: 3 match points for the winner, 0 match points for the loser
Match won 3–2: 2 match points for the winner, 1 match point for the loser.

The Spikers' Turf conference results shows the final rankings of each conference, a men's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2015.

The Spikers’ Turf Reinforced Conference was the 6th conference of the Spikers' Turf that started on October 1, 2016 and ended on November 12, 2016, games were held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig. There were six (6) competing teams in this conference.

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the seventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference started on May 26, 2019. Grand Fans Day was held at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City on April 25, 2019. Games were held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Philippines. Philippine Army returned as Pacific Town-Army Lady Troopers and Motolite Power Builders returned with a new set of players.

The 2019 Spikers’ Turf Reinforced Conference is the thirteenth conference of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began on May 19, 2019 at the Paco Arena. The Philippine men’s volleyball team is set to compete in this conference as preparations for the 2019 SEA Games.

The Cignal HD Spikers are a professional men's volleyball team in the Philippines. The club is owned by Cignal TV, Inc., a subsidiary of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc., a PLDT company.

The 2022 Spikers' Turf season was the fifth season of the men's volleyball league Spikers' Turf, which began on August 30, 2022 with only one conference.

The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season.

The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the eleventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its second conference as a professional league.

The 2022 Spikers' Turf Open Conference was the fifteenth conference of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament were held at Paco Arena, Manila from 30 August to 6 October 2022 with a total of seven teams.

The 2023 Spikers' Turf season is the sixth season of the men's volleyball league Spikers' Turf, the counterpart of the women's Premier Volleyball League (formerly called Shakey's V-League).

The 2023 Premier Volleyball League First All-Filipino Conference was the fourteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its fifth conference as a professional league. The tournament began on February 4, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

Ysrael Wilson Marasigan is a Filipino indoor and beach volleyball player. He played with Ateneo Blue Eagles collegiate men's volleyball team. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf.

Kim Niño Malabunga is a Filipino volleyball athlete. He played with NU Bulldogs collegiate men's University team. He is currently playing for the Imus City–AJAA Spikers in the Spikers' Turf.

Rex Emmanuel Intal is a Filipino volleyball athlete. He played with Ateneo Blue Eagles collegiate men's University team. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf.

John Paul Bugaoan is a Filipino volleyball athlete. He played with FEU Tamaraws collegiate men's University team. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf.

Ricky Marcos is a Filipino volleyball athlete. He played with NU Bulldogs collegiate men's University team. He is currently playing for the Imus City–AJAA Spikers in the Spikers' Turf.

Manuel Sumanguid III is a Filipino volleyball athlete. He played with Ateneo Blue Eagles collegiate men's University team. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf.
