The 2023 Yale Bulldogs football team represented Yale University as a member of the Ivy League during the 2023 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The team was led by 11th-year head coach Tony Reno and played home games at the Yale Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut.

A total of nine Yale players won all-Ivy League selections, with Yale leading the League in representation on the all-Ivy first team. On offense, linemen Kiran Amegadjie and Jonathan Mendoza, quarterback Nathan Grooms, and receiver Mason Tipton (who was a unanimous selection) won first-team honors. Defensive lineman Clay Patterson, linebacker Joseph Vaughn, and defensive back Wande Owens earned defensive first-team selections. Running back Joshua Pitsenberger and tight end Jackson Hawes won second-team offensive honors. Offensive lineman Michael Bennett, defensive lineman Alvin Gulley, linebacker Hamilton Moore, and defensive back Sean Guyton received honorable mentions. [1]

William Lewis Shaw was an American professional football player who was a guard for the Buffalo Bills in the American Football League (AFL). After playing college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, he was selected by the Bills in the second round of the 1961 AFL draft. Shaw was the prototypical "pulling guard" who despite his size held his own against much bigger defensive linemen like Ernie Ladd, Earl Faison and Buck Buchanan. Brown was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004.

Duane Clair Bickett is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, and Carolina Panthers. Bickett played college football for the USC Trojans.

Cornell Desmond Brown is an American football coach and former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for Virginia Tech, and earned All-American honors twice. Drafted late in the sixth round of the 1997 NFL draft, he played professionally for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. In 2013, Brown was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.

He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies, earned unanimous All-American honors and recognition as the outstanding college defensive player. A third-round pick in the 2000 NFL draft, he played professionally for the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins of the NFL.

Johnie Earl Cooks was an American professional football player who was a linebacker for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Cooks was selected by the Baltimore Colts as the second overall pick in the 1982 NFL draft. He played from 1982 to 1991 for the Colts, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns. He was a member of the Giants when they defeated the Buffalo Bills 20–19 in Super Bowl XXV. Cooks played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Jeffrey Charles Rohrer is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Yale Bulldogs and was selected in the second round of the 1982 NFL draft.

Eric Palmer Kumerow is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for three seasons for the Miami Dolphins and one season with the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL). He played 42 games in his NFL career.

They finished in fourth place in the West Division and crossed over to the East Division playoffs for the third time in franchise history. The Roughriders improved upon their 10–8 record from 2017 with a 12–6 record and qualified for the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The team hosted the first ever playoff game at the new Mosaic Stadium, but lost to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the West Semi-Final. This was the third season under head coach and general manager Chris Jones.

The 1975 Yale Bulldogs football team represented Yale University in the 1975 NCAA Division I football season. The Bulldogs were led by 11th-year head coach Carmen Cozza, played their home games at the Yale Bowl and finished in third place in the Ivy League with a 5–2 record, 7–2 overall.

The 2023 Dartmouth Big Green football team represented Dartmouth College in the 2023 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Ivy League. The team was to be led by 23rd-year head coach Buddy Teevens, but interim head coach Sammy McCorkle took over play-calling as Teevens recovered from injuries sustained in a bicycle crash which ultimately took his life. McCorkle was later promoted from interim head coach to permanent head coach on October 19. With three straight conference victories against Princeton, Cornell, and Brown in the final three weeks of the season, in combination with a Yale victory over Harvard in the season's final week, the Dartmouth Big Green won a share of the Ivy League title. They played their home games at Memorial Field.
