Jackson Hawes is an American football tight end for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He previously played for the Yale Bulldogs.

Early life and high school

Hawes attended Highland High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rated as a three-star recruit, he committed to play college football for the Yale Bulldogs. [1] [2]

College career

Yale

In five seasons at Yale from 2019 through 2023, Hawes appeared in 29 games, where he hauled in 35 receptions for 371 yards and six touchdowns. He was named second team all-Ivy League twice, in 2022 and 2023. [3] [4] [5] [6] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Hawes decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. [7] [8]

Georgia Tech

Hawes transferred to play for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. [9] [10] During the 2024 season, Hawes accepted an invite to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl. [11]
