The 2024 Florida Atlantic Owls baseball team represented Florida Atlantic University in the sport of baseball during the 2024 college baseball season. This was the Owls' first season as members of the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Home games were played at FAU Baseball Stadium on the university's main campus in Boca Raton, Florida. The team was coached by John McCormack in his sixteenth season as Florida Atlantic's head coach.
The American Athletic Conference preseason poll was released on December 28, 2023, with the Owls predicted to finish in fourth place. [2]

The Florida Atlantic Owls are the athletics teams of Florida Atlantic University. The Owls participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s Division I as members of the American Athletic Conference. On October 21, 2021, Florida Atlantic accepted the invitation to join The American and became a full member on July 1, 2023.
The 2015 Louisville Cardinals baseball team represented the University of Louisville during the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Cardinals played their home games at Jim Patterson Stadium as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head coach Dan McDonnell, in his ninth year at Louisville.
The 2016 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began in February 2016. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2016 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2016 College World Series. The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, ended on June 30, 2016, with Coastal Carolina claiming its first NCAA title in a team sport.
