The IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup 2024 is the twelfth season of the paraclimbing world cup series by the International Federation of Sport Climbing. Two of the three events are held alongside the 2024 IFSC Climbing World Cup.

Procedure

Athletes compete in lead climbing only. Each category must feature at least four competitors from three nations for a competition to take place. If these minimums aren't reached, categories may be merged into other, more difficult formats.

The IFSC Climbing World Championships are the biennial world championship event for competition climbing that is organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC). The 2018 IFSC Climbing World Championships, the 15th edition, were held in Innsbruck, Austria from 6 to 16 September 2018. The championships consisted of lead, speed, bouldering, paraclimbing, and combined events.

The 2018 IFSC Climbing World Cup was held in 14 locations. There were 22 events: 7 bouldering, 7 lead, and 8 speed events. The season began on 13 April in Meiringen, Switzerland, and concluded on 28 October in Xiamen, China.

The 2016 IFSC Climbing World Cup was held in 16 locations. Bouldering, lead and speed competitions were held in 7 locations. The season began on 15 April in Meiringen, Switzerland and concluded on 27 November in Kranj, Slovenia.

Matthew Phillips is a British paraclimber. He competes on the Great Britain Paraclimbing Team, where he was the youngest member, and is the current World Champion in the AU2 category. He is coached by GB Team's Head Coach Robin O'Leary.

The Great Britain paraclimbing team represents Great Britain in paraclimbing. They are administered by British Mountaineering Council, and currently sponsored by the Oakwood Climbing Centre and Quay Climbing Centre. In 2018 the team had their best season ever coming 2nd in the IFSC Climbing World Championships Paraclimbing medal table with 3 World Champions gaining Gold, a Silver and a Bronze medal.

The paraclimbing event was held separately from 16 to 17 July in Briançon, France. The combined event also served as an Olympic qualifying event for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2021 IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships was the 7th edition of its kind. It was held in Moscow, Russia from 15 to 17 September 2021, alongside the 2021 IFSC Climbing World Championships, it included a total of 13 Lead events for the respective athlete's impairment classification.

The speed and combined events served as the first qualifying event for the 2024 Summer Olympics. PostFinance Arena served as the event venue.

Maureen Beck is an American mountaineer, and a specialist in adaptive climbing. Born without a lower left arm, she has won six national titles, and won a gold medal at the 2014 Spanish Paraclimbing World Championships.

The 2024 IFSC Climbing World Cup is the 36th edition of the international competition climbing series organised by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), held in 9 locations. There are 16 events per gender: five competition bouldering, six competition lead climbing, and five competition speed climbing events. The series begins on 8 April in Keqiao, Shaoxing, China, with the first bouldering World Cup of the season, and will conclude on 8 October in Seoul with bouldering, lead, and speed.

The 2023 IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships was the 8th edition of its kind. It was held at the PostFinance Arena in Bern, Switzerland from 7 to 10 September 2023, alongside the 2023 IFSC Climbing World Championships. It included a total of 17 lead events for the respective athlete's impairment classification.
