The 2024 Pondicherry Premier League was the inaugural season of the Pondicherry Premier League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Pondicherry, India. [1] [2] organised by Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP). [3] The tournament was played from 6 July to 23 August 2024. [4]

The Caribbean Premier League is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal is an Indian international cricketer who plays for the Indian cricket team. He made his international debut in the first Test against the West Indies in July 2023, scoring a century in his first innings in Test cricket. His domestic team is Mumbai and plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was a part of the Indian team which won the 2024 T20 World Cup, however he did not feature in any of the matches during the tournament.

Morawakage Maheesh Theekshana is a professional cricketer who plays for the Sri Lanka national cricket team in all three formats of the game. He made his international debut for Sri Lanka in September 2021. Regarded as one of the best T20 bowlers in the world, his bowling action resembles that of former Sri Lankan mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis, who coincidentally happened to be his mentor with the Sri Lanka Army Sports Club, whom he has represented in the Sri Lankan domestic game. He is known for bowling spin at high speeds that exceed 100 km/h and for bowling Yorkers by a spinner, which make it harder for batsmen to face. He also shows his capability as a lower-order batsman.
