The 2025 Florida Gators softball team was an American college softball team that represents the University of Florida during the 2025 NCAA Division I softball season. The Gators, were led by head coach Tim Walton in his 20th season, and played their home games at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.

Previous season

The Gators finished the 2024 season 53–14 overall, and 17–7 in the SEC, finishing in second place in their conference. They won the 2024 SEC tournament, and received an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I softball tournament. [3] [4] During the NCAA tournament they advanced to the Women's College World Series before being eliminated by eventual tournament champion Oklahoma. [5]
