The 2025 Frederiksberg Municipal election will be held on November 18, 2025, to elect the 31 members to sit in the regional council for the Frederiksberg Municipal council, in the Danish municipality of Frederiksberg, for the period 2026 to 2029. [1]
Following the 2021 election, Michael Vinfeldt from Social Democrats became mayor for his first term, breaking 112 years of the position being held by the Conservatives. [2] He is set to run for a second term. [3]
For the second election in a row, the council is set to increase its size, having to elect 31 councillors, compared to 29 in 2021. [4]
Actor Bjarne Henriksen will run for the Social Democrats. [5]

For elections to Danish municipalities, a number varying from 9 to 31 are chosen to be elected to the municipal council. The seats are then allocated using the D'Hondt method and a closed list proportional representation. Frederiksberg Municipality had 31 seats in 2025.
