K-1 World MAX 2025 - Atomweight Championship Tournament is a kickboxing event that will be held by K-1 on February 9, 2025, at the Yoyogi 2nd Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.
A K-1 Featherweight title bout between champion Takumi Terada and challenger Takahito Niimi, [1] a K-1 Super Bantamweight title bout between champion Akihiro Kaneko and challenger Manolis Kallistis, [2] as well as a K-1 Women's Atomweight Grand Prix were all scheduled to take place during the event. Masanori Kanehara Japanese: 金原正徳(born November 18, 1982) is a Japanese mixed martial artist currently competing the Bantamweight division in DEEP and Rizin FF. A professional competitor since 2003, Kanehara has formerly competed for World Victory Road, K-1, the UFC, Pancrase, ZST, and also made an appearance at Dynamite!! 2009. Kanehara is the 2009 Sengoku Featherweight Grand Prix Champion and inaugural Sengoku Featherweight Champion.
