Based on conference tie-ins, the game will feature Navy Midshipmen from the American Conference and the Cincinnati Bearcats from the Big 12 Conference. This will be the 7th meeting between the two teams, and the first since 2022, when Cincinnati were part of the American. The series is tied at 3−3, with Cincinnati having won the last three. [3]
