The 21st Asianet Film Awards , honoring the best Malayalam films of 2018, was held on 6 and 7 April 2019 near at FACT Sports Association Ground, Kalamassery, Kochi. [1] The show was hosted by Nyla Usha, Govind Padmasoorya and Prathibha Sai. [2]

Jayaram Subramaniam, known mononymously as Jayaram, is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He has also appeared in Tamil and Telugu language films. He is also a chenda percussionist, mimicry artist, and occasional playback singer. Jayaram has acted in more than 200 films and has received several awards, including the Padma Shri, two Kerala State Film Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, and four Filmfare Awards South.
Manju Warrier is an Indian actress, producer, classical dancer and playback singer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema industry.
Kaviyoor Ponnamma is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films and television. She began her career performing in theatre dramas before foraying into cinema. She has also acted in TV serials and commercials and has playback singing credits in few films. Ponnamma is a four-time Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress winner.
