Rosshan Andrrews (born 6 January 1975) is an Indian film director who mainly works in Malayalam cinema. [1] [2] [3]

Biography

Rosshan Andrrews was born to Moolakuzhi Nedumparampil Andrews and Burney in Thrissur. [4] He attended St. Aloysious Thrissur and Cochin College, Eranakulam. [2]

Personal life

Roshan is married to Ancy and the couple has three children: Anjelina, Ryan and Ana Bella. [2]

Career

His debut film was the 2005 Malayalam film Udayananu Tharam [5] [6] starring Mohanlal and Meena. After the success of the film, Rosshan Andrrews directed his next film in 2006 named Notebook . [7] [8] [9] The film had newcomers Mariya Roy, Parvathy, Roma and Skanda Ashok . [10]

He is working on his Hindi debut, Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde; with the story written by Bobby–Sanjay. It is produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios. [11]

Notebook is a 2006 Indian coming-of-age drama film directed by Rosshan Andrrews and written by Bobby-Sanjay. It is about three students at a boarding school and how they face up to challenges in their lives. The film stars Maria Roy, Roma Asrani, and Parvathy Thiruvothu, while Skanda Ashok and Suresh Gopi play supporting roles. The film dealt with the subject of teenage pregnancy.

Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu is a 1984 Indian Malayalam-language drama film written and directed by Fazil, and starring Mohanlal, Nadhiya Moidu, Padmini. The film features original songs composed by Jerry Amaldev and background score by Johnson. Nadhiya made her Malayalam and acting debut through this film. The film also marked the comeback of Padmini after a hiatus. Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu was the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year at the box office and ran for more than 200 days in theatres. It stars Kunchacko Boban, Manju Warrier, Kaniha, Lalu Alex and Amritha Anil. This film marks the return of Manju Warrier after a 15-year sabbatical break from the industry. The film was released on 17 May 2014. It received positive reviews from critics and was a major commercial success of the year at the box office. The movie was remade in Tamil as 36 Vayadhinile with Jyothika.

Ranjan Abraham is an Indian film editor who predominantly works in Malayalam films. He has worked over 100 Malayalam films. He started as an assistant of noted editor G. Venkitaraman. His first independent assignment was Maravathoorkanavu directed by debutant Lal Jose. He frequently collaborated with Joshiy, Lal Jose and Vineeth Sreenivasan.
