The 25th Senate of Puerto Rico is the upper house of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico and will meet from January 2, 2013, to January 1, 2017. All members were elected in the General Elections of 2012. The Senate has a majority of members from the Popular Democratic Party (PPD). [1] [2] [3] The body is counterparted by the 29th House of Representatives of Puerto Rico in the lower house.

Héctor Javier Martínez Maldonado is a former Puerto Rican politician, attorney and former senator of Puerto Rico. He served as senator of the District of Carolina from 2004 until 2011. Martínez was convicted of bribery by a federal jury on March 8, 2011 and is involve in William’s situation helping the federal government because he served and apparently is making a deal with the federal government. after he resigned his seat on March 12, 2011.

Academia de la Inmaculada Concepción Catholic school in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico

The Academy of the Immaculate Conception is a coeducational Catholic school located in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Founded in 1905, it is among Puerto Rico's oldest institutions of learning. Though established by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, since 2015 it is owned and operated by the Colegio Católico Notre Dame in Caguas.

Puerto Rico senatorial districts Electoral districts for electing senators of Puerto Rico

The Puerto Rico senatorial districts refers to the electoral districts in which Puerto Rico is divided for the purpose of electing 16 of the 27 members of the Senate of Puerto Rico. The island is currently divided in eight senatorial districts, each based on a similar number of inhabitants, and comprising one or more representative districts—the electoral districts in which Puerto Rico is divided for the elections of the members of the House of Representatives. American citizens may vote only for the district in which they have declared their residence, and only for up to two senators per district by plurality-at-large.

2020 Puerto Rican general election Elections to elect the governor of Puerto Rico

The 2020 Puerto Rican general elections was held on November 3, 2020 to elect the officials of the Puerto Rican government who will serve from January 2021 to January 2025, most notably the position of Governor and Resident Commissioner. In addition, there was also a non-binding status referendum to ask voters if Puerto Rico should become the 51st state of the Union.

Joanne Marie Rodríguez Veve is a Puerto Rican lawyer and politician. She currently serves as at-large Senator at the 27th Senate of Puerto Rico (2021-2025), representing the Proyecto Dignidad party.She was elected during the 2020 Puerto Rico Senate election and is the first senator of the party.
