The 27th Awit Awards were held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, Pasay. They honored the best of Filipino music for the year 2013.

Gloc-9 received the most nominations with nine. He was followed by Thyro Alfaro and Ito Rapadas with seven. Jumbo De Belen and Jonathan Manalo came next receiving six nods.

The awards night was hosted by Marion Aunor and Josh Padilla. Gloc-9 won most of the awards with six. [1] [2] [3]

KZ Tandingan Filipino singer and rapper (born 1992)

Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan-Monterde, mononymously known as KZ, is a Filipina singer and rapper hailed as Asia's Soul Supreme. She rose to prominence following her win on the first season of The X Factor Philippines in 2012.

<i>DJP</i> (album) 2013 studio album by Daniel Padilla

DJP is the first full length studio album of Filipino teen actor and recording artist Daniel Padilla. It was first released digitally on April 11, 2013 under Star Records. The physical album was launched on April 16, 2013 at the SM North’s The Block.

The 26th Awit Awards were held in Sequoia Hotel, Quezon City. They honored the best of Filipino music for the year 2012. The Philippine Association of the Record Industry decided to hold a small event, where only the winners were invited, due to the tragic Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) that affected the country last month. The money to be used for the planned extravagant awards ceremony was instead donated to the calamity fund. Being a simple ceremony, no performances occurred.

2014 Metro Manila Film Festival

The 40th Metro Manila Film Festival is the edition of the annual film festival that is held in Metro Manila, Philippines and is organized by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA). During the film festival, no foreign films are shown in Philippine cinemas and theaters in order to showcase locally produced films. The film festival began on December 23, 2014 and was kicked off by the yearly Parade of Stars' float parade starting from the Quirino Grandstand. It is expected to run until January 7 of the following year.

The 22nd Awit Awards were held on December 7, 2009 at the Filoil Flying V Arena, San Juan. They honored the achievements in the Philippine music industry for the year 2008.

Noel Comia Jr. Musical artist

Noel Marasigan Comia Jr. is a Filipino actor, commercial model, singer, TV events host, and voice talent who won Cinemalaya's Best Actor Award 2017 for movie Kiko Boksingero and joined as a contestant in the third season of The Voice Kids under Team Lea with his coach Lea Salonga. Prior to his appearance on The Voice Kids, this multi-talented child actor has appeared in numerous theater productions and TV commercials.

IV of Spades Filipino pop funk band

IV of Spades is a Filipino rock band from Metro Manila, Philippines, consisting of vocalist, bassist and keyboardist Zild Benitez, vocalist and lead guitarist Blaster Silonga, and drummer Badjao de Castro. Unique served as the band's lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist until 2018. The band first gained exposure with the release of their 4th single "Mundo". On August 21, 2020, the band entered a hiatus.
