The 29th Moscow International Film Festival was held from 21 to 30 June 2007. [1] The Golden George was awarded to the Russian film Travelling with Pets directed by Vera Storozheva.

Bohdan Stupka Ukrainian actor (1941-2012)

Bohdan Sylvestrovych Stupka was a popular Ukrainian actor and the minister of culture of Ukraine. He was born in Kulykiv, General Government to Ukrainian parents. In 2001 he was a member of the jury at the 23rd Moscow International Film Festival. At the 26th Moscow International Film Festival he won the award for Best Actor for his role in Our Own.

Travelling with Pets is a 2007 Russian drama film directed by Vera Storozheva. It won the Golden George at the 29th Moscow International Film Festival.

The London Russian Film Festival is an annual film festival, launched by Academia Rossica in 2007. The festival is aimed to present cinema in Russian language to an English speaking audience. All films are shown in original language, with English subtitles. The film programme includes feature films as well documentaries and animated films. Apart from the film screenings, the festival encompasses Q&A sessions with actors, directors and producers presenting the films, discussion events about contemporary Russian films and culture, and film showings specially for children.

The 35th Moscow International Film Festival took place between 20 and 29 June 2013. World War Z was selected as the opening film. The Golden George was awarded to the Turkish film Particle.

Vera Storozheva is a Russian actress and film director. She has directed nine films since 2002. Her 2007 film Travelling with Pets won the Golden George at the 29th Moscow International Film Festival.

The 30th Moscow International Film Festival was held from 19 to 28 June 2008. The Golden George was awarded to the Iranian film As Simple as That directed by Reza Mirkarimi.

The 34th Moscow International Film Festival was held from 21 to 30 June 2012. Dukhless was selected as the opening gala film and closed with Beloved by Christophe Honoré. The Golden George was awarded to Junkhearts (2011) directed by Tinge Krishnan.
