Bushra Ansari is a Pakistani actress, comedian, singer, and playwright who started her career as a child performer in the 1960s. Ansari won numerous awards during her career, including the Presidential Pride of Performance Award in 1989 for her contributions to Pakistani television.

The Nigar Awards were presented in an annual award show to recognize outstanding achievement in Pakistani cinema, after having been revived in 2017 following a 15-year absence. The honors are awarded by Nigar Magazine founded in 1948. The Nigar Awards are Pakistan's version of the Academy Awards.

The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Program had been awarded annually between 1985 and 2021. Until 1993, the award was just known as the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program. Arthur held the record for most nominations (12) and Arthur and Muppet Babies tied for most wins (4). Azerbaijan participated in and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Running Scared" written by Stefan Örn, Sandra Bjurman and Iain James Farquharson. The song was performed by Ell and Nikki. The Azerbaijani Eurovision entrant for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany was selected through Milli Seçim Turu 2011, organised by the Azerbaijani broadcaster İctimai Television (İTV). Following seven heats, a semi-final and a final on 11 February 2011, a seven-member jury selected Nigar Jamal and Eldar Gasimov as the winner. The song "Running Scared" was internally selected and presented to the public on 14 March.

Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay (ZKHH) is a 2016 Pakistani romantic drama film directed by Anjum Shahzad, written by Abdul Khaliq Khan while produced by Rafiq Ahmed Choudhary, Fahmeeda Abdul Khaliq, Kamran Siddiqui and Jahanzaib Quadir while under the banner of Geo Films. The film's cast included Pakistani television stars Sajal Ali and Feroze Khan in lead roles. It is the third project to feature Sajal Ali opposite Feroze Khan after blockbuster drama serials Chup Raho and Gul e Rana. The film was distributed by Geo Films on Eid ul Adha 2016. The film was the remake of the 1979 American film Kramer vs. Kramer.

Ilyas Rashidi was a Pakistani publisher and editor who founded the film magazine Nigar, dedicated to films and film personalities, in 1948 and the historic and prestigious Nigar Awards on 17 July 1957.

The 47th Daytime Emmy Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), honored the best in U.S. daytime television programming in 2019. The winners in leading categories were presented in a remotely-produced special aired by CBS on June 26, hosted by the panel of the network's daytime talk show The Talk.

The Nigar Award for Best Actress, also known as Nigar Public Film Award for Best Actress is an award constituted for the cinema of Pakistan to recognise contribution of a lead actress in Lollywood. Established in 1958 by Ilyas Rashidi, it is presented annually by Nigar magazine as part of its annual ceremony of Nigar Awards. The award ceremony takes place independently and is not associated with government or for-profit entities such as production house or television channel.
