49ers is the debut album by Italian Italo house dance act 49ers, released in 1990 on the Island record label. It features the hit singles "Touch Me" (UK No. 3, [1] AUS No. 18 [2] ), "Don't You Love Me" (UK No. 12, [1] US No. 78, AUS No. 61 [3] ) and "Girl to Girl" (UK No. 31).

In a retrospective review for AllMusic, Alex Henderson gave the album four out of five stars, describing most of the various singers on the album as having "big, substantial voices" and that the album's producer, Gianfranco Bortolotti, "sees to it that vocal personality is a prime ingredient of such exuberant offerings as "Girl to Girl," "Touch Me," and a remake of [Gloria] Gaynor's "I Will Survive"". Get Born is the debut studio album by Australian rock band Jet. It was released on 14 September 2003 and has sold over 4 million copies worldwide. The album includes Jet's most popular song, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl".
Technotronic was a Belgian electronic music project formed in 1987 by Jo Bogaert, best known for the 1989 single "Pump Up the Jam", which features vocals by Ya Kid K. The song peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. The single and was followed by the album of the same name which was released the same year and peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200. They achieved further success with the singles "Get Up! " and "Move This". Technotronic went on to release the albums Body to Body (1991) and Recall (1995).
Forever Your Girl is the debut studio album by American singer Paula Abdul. It was released on June 21, 1988, through Virgin Records. The album was Abdul's breakthrough into the music industry after being a choreographer for high-profile clients including Kate Bush, The California Raisins, George Michael, ZZ Top, Duran Duran and most notably Janet Jackson.
