Paraná Clube, commonly referred to as Paraná, is a Brazilian professional club based in Curitiba, Paraná founded on 19 December 1989. It competes in the Campeonato Paranaense Série Prata, the second tier of the Paraná state football league.

The Bola de Ouro is an annual award given each year, since 1973, by Brazilian sports magazine Placar to the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro. A group of sports journalists watch every match of the competition and rate players 1 to 10 based on their performance. At the end of the season, the players with the best average rating in each position are awarded the Bola de Prata, and the player with the best overall average rating is the recipient of the Bola de Ouro.

Line 15 (Silver) (Portuguese: Linha 15–Prata) is one of the six lines that make up the São Paulo Metro and one of the thirteen lines that make up the Metropolitan Rail Transportation Network. It is South America's first mass-transit monorail and is the first system in the world to use the Bombardier Innovia Monorail 300. When completed it will be the largest and highest capacity monorail system in the Americas and second worldwide only to the Chongqing Monorail. The first section, from Vila Prudente to Oratório, opened on 30 August 2014, initially running 10 AM–3 PM on weekends only. As of 26 October 2016, the line is operational from 4:40 AM–12 AM. The line has a free connection to Line 2-Green on Vila Prudente station and future connection to CPTM Line 10-Turquoise on Ipiranga station.
The Troféu António Pratas is an annual cup competition for Portuguese basketball teams organized by the Portuguese Basketball Federation. Created in 2007 to honour António Pratas, its first edition was only open to Proliga clubs. A year later, it expanded to include teams from the Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol and has since established itself as a "curtain-raiser" for the season.
