A2 Ethniki Volleyball or Greek A2 Volleyball League is the third-tier of the Greek volleyball championship system in Greece. It used to be the second-tier until the founding of the Pre-league tier replacing A2 as the second tier making A2 the third one, since 2019. It was founded in 1988. The winner teams promoted to A1 Ethniki Volleyball. The championship is held in three groups of teams. The winner of each group plays in a play-off championship and the two best teams of play-off promoted to A1 Ethniki. The recent season, the winners are AEK Athens and AE Komotinis [1]

Ethnikos Piraeus 1923 Football Club is a Greek football club based in Piraeus and its parent sports club is Ethnikos OFPF. The club was officially formed in 1923 as Keravnos, but existed since 1922. The club's crest is a vine leaf and its traditional colours are green and white.

Ethnikos Piraeus

Ethnikos Piraeus is a Greek multisport club based in Piraeus. It was founded in 1923. The full name of the club is Ethnikos Omilos Filathlon Pireos/Phalirou or Ethnikos OFPF, which means National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum. Ethnikos has sections in football, basketball, volleyball, waterpolo, swimming and field hockey. In most of these sports, Ethnikos has won titles and honours. The most successful section is the water polo, which has won many titles in both men's and women's teams. Nevertheless, the most popular is the football team, which had a remarkable tradition in the first division in the past.

Larissa Football Clubs Association Greek association football league

The Larissa Football Clubs Association or the LFCA is a football (soccer) organization in the Larissa prefecture that is part of the Greek Football Federation. LFCA is responsible for organizing the prefectural football (soccer) championships in four divisions and the LFCA Cup. LFCA also organizes championship and cup competitions for youth and development teams.

Giouchtas F.C. Football club

A.O. Giouchtas F.C., short for Athlitikos Omilos Archanes “Giouchtas” and also known simply as Giouchtas, is a Greek football club, based in Archanes, Heraklion. The club is named after Mount Juktas, overlooking the town of Archanes. The club was founded in 1957 and its traditional colors are green and white. They currently compete in the Gamma Ethniki, the third tier of the Greek football league system, and host their home games in the Archanes National Stadium, known also as “Markomichelakio Stadium”. They have previously played for two seasons in the Gamma Ethniki during 2013-15.

Esperides Kallitheas Greek basketball club

Esperides Kallitheas is a women's basketball club, based in Kallithea, Athens. Esperides was founded in 1995, and at the end of 2012, changed its name and its emblem, and restarted as GS Ikaros kallitheas. This was because since Esperides faced financial problems and wasn't able to continue in the Greek Women's League championship. Esperides has won two Greek Women's League championships and four Greek Women's Cups. In 2017-18 season Ikaros Kallitheas renamed again Esperides Kallitheas.

FO Vrilissia Greek volleyball club

FO Vrilissia, full name Filathlitikos Omilos Vrilissia is Greek volleyball club based in Vrilissia, Athens. It is mainly active in women volleyball and it is one of the most successful clubs in this sport. FO Vrilissia has won 9 Panhellenic titles in women volleyball. Despite its successful presence the club retreated from the championship in season 2014-15 due to financial problems and relegated to second tier championship.

The 2011–12 Greek Volleyleague season was the 44th season of the Greek Volleyleague, the highest tier professional volley league in Greece. The winner of the league was Iraklis Thessaloniki, which beat Foinikas Syros in the league's playoff's finals. The last match of the finals didn't held because Foinikas withdrew protested for a previous match. The clubs E.A. Patras and Apollon Kalamarias were relegated to the Greek A2 League. The championship finished with only 11 team because Apollon Kalamarias withdrew in the middle of season. The MVP of the league was Andrej Kravárik, player of Iraklis.

Aias Evosmou

Aias Evosmou is a Greek multi-sport club based in Evosmos, Thessaloniki. It was founded in 1967 and it has departments in various sports, football, basketball and volleyball. The full name of the club is Athlitikos Politistikos Syllogos Aias Evosmou/APS Aias Evosmou. The most successful department is the women's volleyball team that plays in A1 Ethniki. The team's colours are red and white and its emblem is the ancient Greek hero Aias.

GS Apollon Smyrnis

GS Apollon Smyrnis, full name Gymnasticos Syllogos Apollon Smyrnis, literally Gymnastics Society Apollon of Smyrna is a Greek multi-sport club based in Athens. Apollon originally was founded in Smyrna in 1891 and moved to Athens in 1922 after Asia Minor Disaster. The club has got departments in football, basketball, volleyball, waterpolo and other sports. The most successful section is the football team with long presence in A Ethniki. The home stadium of the club is in Rizoupoli, a district of Athens. The club's colours are blue and white and its emblem is the ancient God Apollo.

O.F.I. (sports club)

O.F.I. is a Greek multi-sport club based in Heraklion, Crete. It is commonly known as OFI Crete. It was founded in 1925 and it has teams in football, basketball, volleyball, water polo, athletics and other sports. The most successful team of the club is the football team which is the only department which has won a Panhellenic title, one Greek Football Cup. The team's colours are black and white.

G.N.O. Aris Nikaias

Aris Nikaias is a Greek multi-sport club based in Nikaia, Piraeus. The club was founded in 1973, when members of the club were detached from the nearby Ionikos. The club has departments in a lot of sports. It has won four consecutive championships in women's handball. Its colours are yellow and blue and its emblem is the star.

A2 Ethniki Women's Volleyball is the 2nd-tier of championship of women's volleyball in Greece. Since current year, the championship is held in four subgroups of teams. The winners of each subgroups take part in play off games. The winners of play off team take part in final four and three best teams promote to A1 Ethniki. In current season the winners are AOF Porfyras, Iraklis Kifissias and APS Corinthos. From 2017 to 2018 season established a second level in A2 category named as Women's Pre League.

Panionios Womens Basketball Greek basketball team

Panionios Women's Basketball is the women's basketball department of Panionios GSS, the Greek multi-sport club based in Nea Smyrni. The first basketball department of the club was founded in 1919 and was one of the first in Greece. The women's department in turn was established in the post-war period. Its last reconstitution took place in the late 1990s. The club plays in A2 Ethniki but recently it has played in A1 Ethniki. They have won one Greek Championship, in 2007.

GS Iraklis Womens Basketball Greek basketball team

GS Iraklis Women's Basketball is the women's basketball department of G.S. Iraklis, the Greek multi-sports club based in Thessaloniki. The club plays in A2 Ethniki. They have won three Greek Championships, in 1968, 1970 and 1971.

Panellinios V.C. Greek volleyball club

Panellinios V.C. is the men's volleyball section of Panellinios G.S., the Greek multi-sports club, that is based in Athens. It was one of the first volleyball clubs in Greece, and is also one of the most successful, since it has won six Greek Championships. Panellinios also has a women's team that has won two Greek Women's Championships, and one Greek Women's Cup.

Apollon Kalamarias B.C. Basketball team in Thessaloniki, Greece

Apollon Kalamarias B.C. is the basketball section of Apollon Kalamarias, the Greek multisport club based in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. The women's team stands out from the club because has won two championships and one cup.

Larisaikos F.C. is football club from the Greek town of Larissa, and it was founded in 1930. Larisaikos was one of the first football clubs of Thessaly to participate in the first competitions organised by Thessaly Football Clubs Association. The foundation of Larissa Football Clubs Association in 1960 saw the club participation in the new football league which at the time was equivalent to the third tier of the Greek football federation. In 1964 Larisaikos was merged with Iraklis Larissa, Toxotis Larissa and Aris Larissa to form the new club AEL.
