The Greek Volleyball Super Cup is a volleyball club competition that takes place in Greece since 1998. It is an annual match contested by the champion of Greek Volleyleague and the winner of Greek Volleyball Cup. The matches take place in different cities every year. The competition isn't held if one team has achieved the double in the previous season. Iraklis Thessaloniki has won the competition 4 times, followed by Olympiacos and Panathinaikos who have won it 2 times. Aris Thessaloniki, Foinikas Syros and PAOK have won the trophy one time each.

• In 2005, Iraklis won the Double. Olympiacos were the Championship and Cup runners-up. That match was named Super Game and is recognized by the Hellenic Volleyball Federation as a Super Cup Final.
• In 2021, the Greek Cup was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Foinikas Syros were the League Cup winners and participated in the Super Cup Final.

The 2012−2013 Volleyleague is the 45th season of the Greek national volleyball league. Olympiacos was the winner beating Pamvochaikos in the finals. This was Olympiacos' 26th Championship. The teams that were relegated were Iraklis Thessaloniki and AONS Milon. The MVP of championship was awarded to Olympiacos' Boyan Yordanov.

The Greek Basketball Super Cup or Hellenic Basketball Super Cup, is the top-tier level professional basketball national super cup competition in Greece. The first edition of the tournament, was organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 1986. It was contested by the Greek Basket League champions and the Greek Basketball Cup winners. However, the Greek Basketball Super Cup was revived in 2020, by the Hellenic Basketball Association (HEBA), under a final four tournament format.

The 2007–08 season was the 94th season in Aris Thessaloniki F.C.'s existence. The club finished 4th in the Super League's regular season and in the same place in play-offs. The club qualified in to the UEFA Cup of the next season.

The 1990–91 season was PAOK Football Club's 64th in existence and the club's 32nd consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The team entered the Greek Football Cup in first round and faced Sevilla in the UEFA Cup.

The 2001 Greek Cup Final was the 57th final of the Greek Cup. The match took place on 12 May 2001 at Nikos Goumas Stadium. The contesting teams were Olympiacos and PAOK. It was Olympiacos' twenty-ninth Greek Cup Final in their 76 years of existence and PAOK's fifteenth Greek Cup Final in their 75-year history. A draw was preceded on 19 April to determine in which stadium/city the final would be hosted: Nikos Goumas Stadium in Athens or Kaftanzoglio Stadium in Thessaloniki. Several days before the game, Olympiacos president Sokratis Kokkalis made a memorable statement using a Greek expression that Olympiacos would lose the upcoming final only if the devil would break his leg, meaning that it was almost impossible for his team to lose. However, PAOK won the match 4–2 with an impressive performance and earned the trophy 27 years after their last success, in the same stadium against the same opponent. During the awarding ceremony, former goalkeeper of PAOK Mladen Furtula whispered to Kokkalis that the devil did break his leg that day and Kokkalis responded with a laugh. PAOK manager Dušan Bajević, became the first in history to win the trophy with three different teams. He also won it with AEK Athens in 1996 and Olympiacos in 1999.

The 2022–23 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system.

All games were hosted in Kallithea Palais des Sports in Rhodes, Greece.
