The Greek Volleyball Cup is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation and started in 1980–81 season. The competition was not held sometimes in the past for financial reasons . Olympiacos won the first Cup in 1981 and is the most successful club, having won the title 17 times. They are also the current Cup holders. [1]
In 1986–87 edition, teams from the 1st Division did not take part. In 1998, Final 4 was established. In the period 2003–07, Final 8 were held. From 2003 to 2012 only the 1st Division teams competed for the trophy. From 2013 the participating clubs come from all divisions. [2]

• In 1987, teams from the 1st Division did not take part. In the final, Demokritos won 3–0 sets against HANTH. [3]
• In 1994, the Greek Cup was cancelled and a final 4 tournament was held in memory of Melina Merkouri. International players were absent due to the 1994 World Championship. In the final, Olympiacos won 3–0 sets against Aris and won the title. [4]
• The 1986, 1988, 1991, 1995, 1996 editions were not held for financial reasons.
• In 1998, final 4 was established. In the period 2003−07, final 8 were held.

Olympiacós Sýndesmos Filáthlon Peiraiós is a major multi-sport club based in Piraeus, Greece. Olympiacos is parent to a number of different competitive departments which participate in football, basketball, volleyball, water polo, handball, athletics, swimming, table tennis and boxing amongst many others—and have won numerous European and domestic titles over the club's history.

P.A.O.K. Volleyball Club or PAOK Volley, is a Greek volleyball club based in Thessaloniki and part of the major multi-sport club PAOK. The department was founded in 1933 and refounded in 1948 after the Axis occupation. Their home ground is PAOK Sports Arena. PAOK have won 9 domestic titles in total with 3 Championships, 5 Cups and 1 Super Cup (2023).
Olympiacos Men's Volleyball, commonly referred to as Olympiacos, Olympiacos Piraeus or with its full name as Olympiacos SFP, is the men's professional volleyball department of the major Greek multi-sport club, Olympiacos SFP, based in Piraeus, Attica. The department was founded in 1926 and their home ground is the Melina Merkouri Indoor Hall in Agios Ioannis Rentis, Piraeus.
Panathinaikos V.C., also known simply as Panathinaikos, or with its full name Panathinaikos A.O. is the professional volleyball team of the major Athens based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. Founded in 1919, it is one of the oldest and most successful volleyball clubs in Greece. They have won 20 Greek Championships finishing 6 times undefeated, 6 Greek Cups, 3 Greek League Cups and 2 Greek Super Cups. They have reached also twice the CEV Cup final.
Boyan Yordanov is a Bulgarian volleyball player, member of the Bulgaria men's national volleyball team. Boyan started his career in Levski (Siconco) Sofia. He made his first cap for Bulgaria in a match against France on the 2006 World Championship in Osaka. He entered as a sub in the third game with France leading 2:0. At the end, Bulgaria won 3:2. Bulgaria got to the bronze medals on the same WC. He has got a silver medal from the 2003 U-21 World Championship in Iran as well.
Panionios G.S.S., the Pan-Ionian Gymnastics Club of Smyrna, is a Greek multi-sport club founded in 1890. Originally based in Smyrna/Izmir, the club was uprooted in the population exchange between Greece and Turkey following the Asia Minor Catastrophe in 1922. It is now based in the suburban town of Nea Smyrni, located in the Attica, and where many of the refugees from Smyrna settled.
The Peace and Friendship Stadium, commonly known by its acronym SEF, is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Piraeus, on the coastal zone of Attica, Greece. The arena is mostly known for being the home to EuroLeague team Olympiacos, and is the central venue of the Faliro Coastal Zone Olympic Complex. It opened in 1985 and its design was inspired by Palasport di San Siro.
The 2012−2013 Volleyleague is the 45th season of the Greek national volleyball league. Olympiacos was the winner beating Pamvochaikos in the finals. This was Olympiacos' 26th Championship. The teams that were relegated were Iraklis Thessaloniki and AONS Milon. The MVP of championship was awarded to Olympiacos' Boyan Yordanov.
The Greek Water Polo cup is the second most important competition of Greek men's waterpolo and is organised by KOE. It was first held in 1953. Initially started as a competition in memory of Pantelis Psychas, Greek athlete of the swimming. The competition was interrupted from 1959 to 1983. Moreover, it wasn't held in 1993-94 season. From 1998-99 season the Final Four system was instituted. Olympiacos Piraeus have won the most titles (25), followed by Ethnikos Piraeus (12). Olympiacos is the team with the most appearances in finals (30) while Ethnikos has the record of successive wins (8).
The Greek women's Volleyball Cup began in the 1998–99 season and is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation (ΕΟΠΕ). So far, seven clubs have won the cup. Olympiacos is the most successful club in the competition with 10 titles. Olympiacos are the current cup holders.
Foinikas Syros is a professional Greek volleyball club based in the island of Syros. Foinikas plays in the first division of Greek Volleyball Championship and has won 2 national titles, the Greek League Cup at 2012 and 2021. Their home ground is the Dimitris Vikelas Arena in Ermoupolis, Syros and their colours are blue and red.
Ethnikos Alexandroupolis Volleyball Club is the volleyball department of Ethnikos Alexandroupolis multi-sport club that based in Alexandroupoli, Greece. It plays almost constantly in A1 Greek Volleyleague and it is the most consistent club in the Greek league except Athens and Thessaloniki. Its colours are blue and white and its home is the Closed Gym of Alexandroupoli 'Michalis Paraskevopoulos'.
The Greek Volleyball Super Cup is a volleyball club competition that takes place in Greece since 1998. It is an annual match contested by the champion of Greek Volleyleague and the winner of Greek Volleyball Cup. The matches take place in different cities every year. The competition isn't held if one team has achieved the double in the previous season. Iraklis Thessaloniki has won the competition 4 times, followed by Olympiacos and Panathinaikos who have won it 2 times. Aris Thessaloniki, Foinikas Syros and PAOK have won the trophy one time each.
Vasileios "Vasilis" Kournetas is a retired Greek volleyball player. A long-standing member of Greece men's national volleyball team, he played in more than 270 games with the Greek team and he competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, finishing at the fifth place. He played in Greece for Olympiacos Piraeus, PAOK, E.A. Patras, Foinikas Syros V.C. and Filia Ilioupolis as well as in Russia for Lokomotiv Belgorod. He announced his retirement from volleyball courts on 5 May 2016. As a key member of Olympiacos for 14 years he won 1 CEV Cup, 7 Greek Championships, 6 Greek Cups, 1 Greek Super Cup and reached the final of the 2001–02 CEV Champions League with the Reds. He also won the 2012 Greek League Cup with Foinikas Syros as well as 2 Greek Championships and 1 Greek Cup with PAOK in the two final seasons of his professional career (2014-2016).
Rafail Koumentakis is a Greek male volleyball player. He is part of the Greece men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Olympiacos Piraeus.
Aliki Konstantinidou is a female retired professional volleyball player from Greece, who used to be a member of the Greece women's national volleyball team.
Olympiacos B.C. B Development Team, also known as Olympiacos B.C. B Piraeus Bank for sponsorship reasons, is the reserve team of the Greek EuroLeague basketball club Olympiacos Piraeus. The club is located in Neo Faliro, Piraeus, which is about 7.4 kilometers from Athens, Greece. The club's full name is Olympiacos Piraeus Basketball Club B Development Team. The team currently plays in the Greek A2 Basket League, which is the second-tier level of professional club basketball in Greece.
The Greek Basketball Super Cup or Hellenic Basketball Super Cup, is the top-tier level professional basketball national super cup competition in Greece. The first edition of the tournament, was organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 1986. It was contested by the Greek Basket League champions and the Greek Basketball Cup winners. However, the Greek Basketball Super Cup was revived in 2020, by the Hellenic Basketball Association (HEBA), under a final four tournament format.
The 2022–23 Greek Basketball Cup was the 48th edition of Greek top-tier level professional domestic basketball cup competition. The previous winner of the cup was Olympiacos. The cup competition started on 21 September 2022 and ended on 19 February 2023. Olympiacos won the competition.
