P.A.O.K. Volleyball Club or PAOK Volley, is a Greek volleyball club based in Thessaloniki and part of the major multi-sport club PAOK. The department was founded in 1933 and refounded in 1948 after the Axis occupation. Their home ground is PAOK Sports Arena. PAOK have won 9 domestic titles in total with 3 Championships (2015, 2016, 2017), 5 Cups (2015, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023) and 1 Super Cup (2023).

Contents

PAOK made their first appearance in the top national division in the 1970–71 season. The team won its first trophies claiming the Double in 2015 and debuted in the CEV Champions League the following season. [1] At the end of 2015–16 season, PAOK was the first team in Greek Volleyball history that won the Greek Championship title despite finishing 4th in the regular season.

AEK Athens F.C. is one of the greatest and most historical association football clubs in Greece. The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the Hellenic Basketball Association (HEBA) professional men's basketball competition. The HEBA Greek all-star game includes players that currently play in HEBA's top-tier level Greek Basketball League (GBL). The HEBA Greek all-star game was originally founded and organized by Gus Sarianides.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Greek Volleyball Cup</span>

The Greek Volleyball Cup is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation and started in 1980–81 season. The competition was not held sometimes in the past for financial reasons. Olympiacos won the first Cup in 1981 and is the most successful club, having won the title 17 times. They are also the current Cup holders.

The first official match was for the Greek Cup against Pindos Konitsas on 2 October 1966. The result was 4–0 for PAS Giannina.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022–23 Greek Football Cup</span> Football tournament season

The 2022–23 Greek Football Cup, also named Novibet Greek Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 81st edition of the Greek Football Cup. The winner of the Cup will qualify for the next season's Europa League third qualifying round.
