"ADD SUV" is the second single from Uffie's debut album Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans . The single was produced by Mirwais and features Pharrell Williams performing guest vocals. [3] "ADD SUV" peaked at number 28 on the UK Independent Singles Chart. [4]
On April 15, 2010, Uffie's single "ADD SUV" featuring Pharrell Williams premiered on BBC Radio 1. Uffie describes "ADD SUV" as "poking fun at the rap fraternity's obsession with possessions, particularly their cars...", [5] but was more seriously influenced by the 1966 novel Valley of the Dolls , which Uffie was reading at the time she wrote the song. A music video began to shoot for "ADD SUV" in Los Angeles starring both Uffie and Pharrell Williams and directed by Nathalie Canguilhem on April 9, 2010, and was released on June 14, 2010. It was also announced that "ADD SUV" will be released accompanied with remixes by Armand Van Helden and Hudson Mohawke on May 17, 2010, in France, May 31, 2010, in most European and Asian countries, June 7, 2010, in the United Kingdom and Ireland and June 8, 2010, in the United States. "ADD SUV" charted very successfully in the UK, peaking at number six on the UK Independent Singles Breakers Chart and charted in France as well.

The single received positive reviews from New York Post, [7] Prefix Magazine, [8] Spin Magazine, [9] among others. BBC praised the track as a "sarky bling-killing single". [10] With so much anticipation around "ADD SUV" the song debuted at number one on The Hype Machine. [11]

Armand van Helden is an American DJ, record producer, remixer and songwriter from Boston. He is considered one of house music's most revered figures, with a career spanning three decades.
Pharrell Lanscilo Williams, often known mononymously as Pharrell, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer. He first became known as one half of the hip hop and R&B production duo the Neptunes, which he formed in 1992 with Chad Hugo. 15 of their productions peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, which includes four songs that peaked atop the chart. He also formed the alternative band N.E.R.D. with Hugo and drummer Shay Haley in 1999, for which Williams serves as lead vocalist. Produced by Feadz, J-Mat, Mr. Oizo, Mirwais and Sebastian, the album features guest appearances by Pharrell Williams and Mattie Safer of The Rapture, includes an "adaptation" of The Velvet Underground's "Rock & Roll" and a cover of Siouxsie and the Banshees' "Hong Kong Garden", which Uffie cited as one of her favorite songs.

Productions, the song was officially released as a single twice, first in May 1997 where it reached No. 31 on the UK Singles Chart, then again in October in a new mix featuring vocals by MC Top Cat, peaking seventeen places higher at No. 14. The song appeared on their sole album, 7th High, released in 2001.
