"Just a Cloud Away" is a song by American musician Pharrell Williams from the soundtrack album for the film Despicable Me 2 , released on July 2, 2013. [1] [2] The song was re-released as a single on March 24, 2022, eight years after the original release, after gaining significant traction on TikTok. [3] [4] [5] [6]

HotNewHipHop praised the song as a "worthy addition to a respectable catalogue." [1] Elena Cavender of Mashable called the song a "rare TikTok sound that’s first and foremost a song, rather than a vehicle for a trend." [7]
