AEK Athens U19 is the youth team of AEK. They participate in the Super League U19 championship. They play their home games at the OPAP Sports Centre in Spata.

Toni Savevski is a Macedonian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Savevski is widely regarded as one of the best foreign players to have played in the Greek football league. After retiring from as a footballer in 2001 he became manager and managed several clubs in Cyprus, most notably Omonia.
Stelios Manolas is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a center back for AEK Athens and a current manager. Widely regarded as the best Greek defender of his era, being one of the few Greek footballers to have played his entire professional career for a single club. In 2021, the IFFHS chose him in Greece's best XI of all time.
Andreas Stamatiadis is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a forward for AEK Athens and a former manager. He is the longest serving captain of the club from 1960 to 1969.
Kleanthis Maropoulos was a Greek footballer who played as a striker for AEK Athens. He was a star footballer during the 1930s and 1940s and arguably the greatest Greek player of his generation. He was affectionately known as the "Blonde Eagle of AEK"(Greek: "Ξανθός Αετός της ΑΕΚ").
Tryfon Tzanetis was a Greek footballer and a later manager. He was best known as a great figure for AEK Athens during the 30's and 40's, partnering Kleanthis Maropoulos in AEK's front line. Tzanetis also contributed to AEK by coaching the club during the 50's and 60's.

Throughout different periods of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, he served as the manager of the first team and all the departments of the academies of AEK. He was one of the pioneers of Greek football and one of the "Patriarchs" of the club. He was renowned for his huge service to AEK Athens.
