South African hip hop artist and record producer AKA has released four studio albums, two collaborative albums with Anatii as well as Costa Titch respectively, one extended play (EP), 42 singles (including 20 as a featured artist) and 23 music videos. AKA's music has been released on record labels Sony Music Entertainment Africa, Vth Season and Beam Group.
AKA's debut studio album Altar Ego , was released on 23 August 2011 and issued on independent record label Vth Season. [1] The album was preceded by three singles. The lead single "I Want It All" which features rappers, Khuli Chana and Pro was released on 28 July 2010. The second single "Victory Lap" was released on 3 December 2010 with the third single "All I Know" being released on 11 July 2011. Alter Ego won Best Newcomer, Best Hip Hop Album and Best Produced Album at the 2011 Metro FM Music Awards which took place on 26 November 2011 at Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela (Nelspruit), Mpumalanga. [2] [3] The album also won Best Street Urban Music Album and Male Artist of the Year at the 18th edition of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) which were held at Sun City, North West on 30 April 2012. AKA's second debut studio album Levels was released on 30 June 30, 2014. [7] The album's release was preceded by four singles "Jealousy", "Kontrol", "Congratulate" and "Run Jozi (Godly)" which features rapper, K.O. Originally slated for physical release on 8 July 2014, the hard copies of the album were later released on 28 July 2014 due to manufacturing issues. Levels won Best Male, Video of the Year for "Congratulate", and Best Collaboration for "Run Jozi (Godly)" at the 2014 South African Hip Hop Awards [8] [9] and won Male Artist of the Year at the 21st South African Music Awards which took place on 19 April 2015 at Sun City, North West. [10] [11] Levels is certified 7× Platinum by RiSA. [12] [13] On 28 July 2017, AKA released the collaborative studio album Be Careful What You Wish For with South African record producer and musician Anatii. [14] [15]
On 15 June 2018, AKA released his third and last solo studio album Touch My Blood which was issued on his independent record label Beam Group. [16] The album was originally set to release on 25 May 2018 but delayed because he needed more time to shoot videos, release singles, drop merchandise and confirm tour dates. [17] [18] [19] [20] Touch My Blood was preceded by five singles, "The World Is Yours" and "Caiphus Song" which are certified triple platinum and gold respectively by RiSA. [21] [22] [23] "Star Signs" which features South African rapper and poet Stogie T, "Sweet Fire" and "Beyonce" also preceded the album. Touch My Blood is certified Platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA). [24] [25] In 2019 he released "Jika" with Yanga Chief.
AKA's fourth studio album Mass Country was released posthumously on February 24, 2023 through Sony and Vth A. It reached 6 million+ streams on Spotify and certified gold in South Africa. [26]

Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and amateur boxer. Born and raised in Mahikeng, North West, he is regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa. In 2014, he established his own record label, Family Tree Records. Nyovest rose to fame with the release of his debut studio album, Tsholofelo (2014) which produced the hit singles "Gusheshe" and "Doc Shebeleza".

Ntokozo Mdluli, known professionally as K.O, is a South African rapper, songwriter, record producer and businessman He began his career as a member of Teargas, a hip hop group which released its debut album, K'shubile K'bovu, in 2006, followed by Wafa Wafa (2008), Dark or Blue (2009) and Num8er Num8er (2012).
Kiernan Jarryd Forbes (28 January 1988 – 10 February 2023), known professionally as AKA, was a South African rapper, record producer, and businessman. Born in Cape Town and raised in Johannesburg, Forbes gained recognition after releasing his single "Victory Lap" from his debut studio album, Altar Ego (2011). Often regarded as one of the greatest South African musicians of all time, he was one of the most popular South African musicians of his era and the best-selling South African hip hop artist of all-time.
Rikhado Makhado, known professionally as Riky Rick, was a South African rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. He was also the founder and owner of record label Cotton Club Records and a member of Boyz N Bucks and he's well known for his hit song Boss Zonke from his album Family Values.

Anathi Bhongo Mnyango, known professionally as Anatii, is a South African rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer.
Shekhinah Thandi Donnell, known mononymously as Shekhinah, is a South African singer-songwriter, Shekhinah was among the Top 32 of M-Net's Season 7 of SA Idols in 2011 and among the Top 6 of Season 8 of SA Idols in 2012.
Jabulani Hadebe, known professionally as Sjava, is a South African singer, rapper, and actor. He began his acting career in 2005, starring in several drama series and films including uGugu no Andile (2009). He then rose to prominence on the drama series Zone 14, where he starred for three consecutive seasons, Isibaya and the second season of eHostela. Touch My Blood is the third album released by South African rapper AKA. Released on 15 June 2018 through Beam Group in partnership with NYCE Entertainment, it is his first independent release and is the follow-up to his sophomore album, Levels. It features guest appearances from fellow South African artists including L-Tido, JR, Yanga Chief, Stogie T, Kwesta & Okmalumkoolkat, as well as a sole international appearance by Nigerian artist and producer KDDO. Production is handled by AKA, Master A Flat, Tweezy, Tazzy, Kiddominant, Anatii, Gemini Major, DJ Maphorisa, Makwa, Buks and additional production by Julian McGuire. Touch My Blood was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) on 25 June 2018, just one week into its release. On 9 November 2018, the album was certified platinum by RiSA four months after its release.
South African rapper Nasty C has released four studio albums, two extended plays (EPs), 36 singles and 22 music videos. Nasty C's music has been released on record labels Venomous Production, Outy Records, Free World Music, Mabala Noise Entertainment and Universal Music. He gained major attention after the release of his second mixtape Price City, which was released in 2015. He won the Best Freshman Award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards for Price City at the age of 18, making him the youngest recipient for the award.

Born and raised in Mooi River, he attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal but dropped out to pursue a career in music. His debut studio album Africa to the World (2018), was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).
Yanga Ntshakaza, professionally known as Yanga Chief is a South African rapper, record producer and singer-songwriter. Born in Mthatha and raised in Queenstown, Yanga studied film studies at University of Johannesburg.
